The tour was good. The large numbers of people and traffic made it uncomfortable and hectic. It was hard to get pictures due to the crowds. Beantown Pub was referred to us but the food was just ok, got the fish and chips but fish was not fresh. Very disappointed for the price.
Did a tour in Salem the next day and was much happier. Smaller crowds and much more relaxed atmosphere.

Happy you enjoyed the tour. Boston is crowded in the summer, to avoid crowds I'd suggest going in the Fall, or taking the tour in the morning. Also we did not cook the food, or suggest Beantown Pub :). Sorry you had a bad experience there, but it's not part of the tour :)

I love this company. If you get wireless earbuds, you and your partner can walk all over and not seem like you are on a tour. You can pause and stop and have a drink, or explore something further. We very much enjoyed our Boston to her and bought both Salem tours as well. My husband especially liked being able to take his time and listen to the tour but still have an eye on his surroundings. Highly recommend.

The sights were wonderful to see but the listening devices did not work. There were 6 in our group and we all had problems. The batteries died 1/2 way in. After changing the batteries they still did not last through the tour. Some did not pause but kept running before you got tobthe next site. Two of our friends just gave up listening after a while.

Very good point to charge batteries before leaving. Thank you! It sounds like you had issues with your batteries. With a full charge we have many users take 3 tours without issues. Possibly you are using an older phone? If so the GPS chips in old phones drain the battery, something we unfortunately can not control.....New phones work much better for battery usage with better chips. Sorry to hear the battery became an issue and not the experience. What kind of phone are you using? Or. your friends? Also did you use headphones / earbuds? That helps.
I get so many positive comments / feedback daily it's sad to hear this. I'll work to make it more clear in the description to keep a full charge before starting the tour.

Loved this app! My wife and I went into Boston on a sunny day, had a blast with this app, had an amazing walk, learned many things we didn’t know about the area, amazing narration, we even saw other people using it in front of us. All in all, cool stuff!
