The truth is that I am writing for an urgent case. I am the daughter of a former fighter who stopped seeing him in 1995. At that time I no longer knew anything about him. Yesterday they sent me a very strong message and I would like to know if someone can give me information about Mr. VICTOR MANUEL AGUIRREZ RAMIREZ his name in the coliseum arena. They love him and love ZIGMAN. And he usually puts on a black and orange suit and wears a mask. Please, if anyone knows him or knows anything about that person, I will be grateful from the bottom of my heart. I ask you to help me. Hopefully, someone have a clue, you don't know what the insertion feels like to not know about my father, I will leave some information about me in case someone has information... MY NAME... IS MARIA VICTORIA RAMIREZ SERRANO AND I AM VICTOR MANUEL AGUIRREZ RAMIREZ'S DREAM. MY NUMBER IS 3326101973 THANK YOU VERY MUCH

For me it is the most beautiful city in the country... I am dying to visit it at least once a year.
The San Juan market is a religious experience, despite the small aisles.
The museums and the beautiful Degollado theater.
Today there is a great variety of cultural proposals and various beautiful forums.

GLAMOUR TUESDAYS! OMG SO FUN. A total blast. Show went from about 9pm-11:30pm. We had so much fun. Be sure to bring cash for snacks and beers.

Best entertainment for the money. I went on Tuesday night. I took Uber there and back. You have to leave early, so Uber driver can get to narrow street at event venue. It gets real crowded after event.

Had very little info before showing up at the box office a little after 6:00 for the Sunday night show. Even throw it was posted as a 6:00 event, I was a little reluctant to get there that early figuring it would be a lot of sitting around. We walked into an event that had already begun and continued almost nonstop for more than two hours.
We bought second tier tickets that landed us front row in the corner. I’m sure third tier would’ve been plenty fine, too - but at about $15, might as well take the dive.
Lucha libre means nothing to me - and we had a ridiculous good time, as did the rest of the crowd that included lots of young children.
Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable, amusing, and the athletic theatrics are quite impressive. Sundays are "Familiar", starting at 6:00 pm, and the action (and audience participation) is suitable for kids. Tuesdays are "Noche de Glamour" starting later, and much raunchier, more rabid and obnoxious participation of the audience. Show lasts about 2.5 hours. The luchadores action makes it into the first and second row; get 3rd row (200 MX on Sundays) or 4th (180 MX) or farther if you are timid. No need for reservations; there are plenty of seats and you can buy at the door. We used the Moovit app to get there and back home via bus (Moovit is a must-have for bus system in GDL!!). Beers, snacks available in the coliseum by roving vendors, slightly less expensive if you buy at the concession stand. This was way more fun than I anticipated, and I totally recommend it.

Having been a massive wrestling fan as a child, I was obliged to go and experience a lucha libre night in the flesh. The first I noticed was that they don’t accept card payments through the entire venue. This means you need to come prepared with cash. Other than that, the entrance was easy. The auditorium is somewhat big. The atmosphere fun & you get to watch several matches back to back. Without giving away too much, expect theatrics, acrobatics & showgirls between intervals. It’s honestly a great cultural experience that the Mexicans take seriously. After the event, there was a massive music jam in the lobby. People were dancing & shaking. It was incredible! Being a tourist, I happened to notice that there were many other tourists. Most of which were American understandably so. If you don’t have access to roaming data, the cafe adjacent to the venue has Wi-fi which they were kind enough to let me use.

Wrestling in Guadalajara. Not bad for this price. Worst to see at least once but it does not look so impressive like US, looks like theater.

We went to Lucha Libre "Glamour" on a Tuesday night, arrived a half hour before the event and bought tickets (see rant below) for Ring 2 and sat 4 rows away from the madness. The entire show is completely ridiculous and incredibly entertaining, definitely worth the cost, and the crowd was equally amusing with their own crude chants and drums(?!). Didn't feel like a tourist trap at all, you could tell there were a lot of regulars, and the fighters interact with the crowd in hilarious ways. It's really a spectacle unlike any other.
My only advice is to avoid buying your tickets in advance online!!!! We bought Ring 1 tickets from Ticketmaster for $350 pesos each ($17 USD, the actual cost) but didn't see the disclaimer that you have to arrive AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE THE SHOW. As you'll see in most other posts, the neighborhood the coliseum is in is not great to spend time in at night - you literally see hookers and drug dealers on the corners and the alleys surrounding the venue are what nightmares are made of. Why, then, would a huge company like Ticketmaster ask that people hang around for 2 hours - something I have never seen for any event ever? When we got to the ticket window to show our tickets, the guy was shocked that we were so late (again, 30 minutes before the fight, lines were not crazy, there is signage about the policy) and said he couldn't honor out seats or payment, so we bought new ones. Also TM will automatically set you up with the "best" seats (Ring 1), where you may end up with a 350 lb man in your lap, or at the very least a michelada, at the highest available price. Lastly, trying to get a refund from TM is a whole other circus that is just not worth the energy. Enjoy the full experience, absolutely go, and buy your tickets when you arrive - it's highly unlikely they will be sold out!

Would it be a better experience if I booked a tour that provided tickets and transportation or should I arrive and buy at the stadium myself?

Is this okay for a very sporty and tough 6 year old boy? He travels a lot. Thank you!
