On a rather warm winter day in Quebec, we were taken on a tour by Nico throughout Old Quebec. This was a great way to see the city in a short period of time and learn more about the history of Quebec and its genesis. Really recommend the tour and sensible that it was 2 and a bit hours, because in the cold, anything longer could be tough! Guide was knowledgeable and happy with the service.

This was the perfect way to experience Quebec on a winter day. Our guide was exceptional and the fact that we were a small group made the difference. I definitely recommend this tour.

Highly recommend this tour.
We saw the essentials of Quebec City so we can choose where to go next with our guide Nicolas. He was knowledgeable, funny and very kind. He speaks French, English and Korean! He’s been everywhere. Great job at giving an overview of the importance of buildings and the landscape and how it has changed over the years as Canada grows and modernizes. He also asked us at the beginning if there was anything we really wanted to see so we could make sure to get there. Ask whatever questions you want and enjoy! There are so many neat things to look at. Stunning views. Bring your phone/camera!
Fair warning, Quebec is a hilly town on the water, so on the day we were there in late October it was chilly, windy and totally beautiful. Be ready for a workout, but don’t hesitate to pause and walk your bike if your legs fail you (like mine did haha). Nicolas was gracious and let the others bike ahead a bit while he ran down and grabbed some apples for us to nom on later, or explain something to give me some non-awkward time to catch up or take my time.
The bikes were easy to maneuver and work. Easy to change gears, convenient baskets on the front for water or a purse. We never felt unsafe driving through traffic, Quebecs drivers are cautious and no body seems to drive crazy or anything. Heed their suggestion to bring a water bottle and maybe a light snack if you think you’ll get peckish or need to refuel. If your yours in the morning definitely eat beforehand or you’ll die. Can’t say I’d recommend this for anyone who isn’t in ok-ish shape or has never biked before, but again Nicolas was very accommodating and patient.
Thank you Nicolas for a great tour!!!

It was phenomenal ! It genuinely felt like you were on a bike ride with a friend who happened to be a history buff. Forget the tape recorder and walking tours— do this instead!

What a fantastic ride down by the Charles river and exploring all different neighbourhoods. So nice from the congested old Quebec but still lots of history and insight into the city. Easy bike with just one hill home. Highly recommended.

Nick took us through neighborhoods outside the old city for a real feeling of Quebec. We had a chance to ride in a beautiful park beside the Saint Charles River and then on to the port of the St. Lawrence River. The peddling was fairly easy and he provided a great history lesson and context for all the neighborhoods. It really gave us an opportunity to understand the development of Quebec from a frontier town to a thriving city.
