I assume there must be answers to this already but I am traveling with my husband and 15 year old son. I know these tours probably cater more to adults particularly if wine is provided at the various stops. My son is not shy or uncomfortable in situations but if he is likely the only person under 18 on these tours it will make him stand out needlessly. What percentage of tours have teenagers under the age of 18? Please advise....I am anxious to book a food tour but not if he will be the odd man out? Is it possible we could be directed to one of your tours where you might know of other kids and their families already signed up. We are traveling to Quebec City August 16-August 21st...if there are any other food tours with teenagers during that timeline we would gladly sign up for one of those?
Hi, thanks for your question! It's difficult to say if there will be teenagers on our tour since customers have bought general admission tickets for their kids over 13 years of age. However, with our experience, I can confirm that there are teens and kids on our tours almost every day during the summer months (June-August), and we try as much as possible to make them feel included in the whole experience.
As for the tastings, there there is usually just one alcohol tasting (except for the Evening tour) and it is replaced with another beverage. Our tour guides are also very dynamic and try to bond with everybody on the tour regardless of age.
I hope you find this information useful and we hope to see you on our tours during your stay in Quebec City! :)
