Great campground for tenters and RVs. The location is 2.5kms from the Osoyoos village which has everything you need. Very close to wineries/orchard as well. There are two golf course Sonora(also a winery) and Osoyoos Golf club. Biking is very good with large bike/tractor lanes on the highway. The climb out of the campsite is a little tough but easy riding from there. The ebike have no issues but I am a peddeler. Hard to book so get on asap if you want to book and they limit of one week as well

Spent two nights here beginning of June on site 1. The site itself was great, private with neighbors only on one side and great access to the lake from the site. I would bring some type of shade shelter as the site doesn't offer a whole lot and it gets very hot there. The bathrooms were clean and stocked the whole trip which was nice as well. There is a dog beach we went to a couple of times and were always the only ones there, I’m assuming because the sites have such close lake access. The park itself was very quiet, not too many up late having fires we noticed. It does get quite windy so be prepared for that. We weren't expecting any wild life but then did have a deer come in front of our site and then watched it swim to shore so that was cool.

My Wife, Daughter, Son-in-law, two young Grandchildren and myself stayed at Haynes Point (Double Site 2 &3) commencing Monday, August 22nd, 2022. We have camped at this location many times over the years as well as many other Parks in BC. This experience was, without a doubt, the worst ever. As a matter of fact my Grandchildren couldn't stand the rotten fish smell and refused to go swimming amongst the dozens of dead salmon washed up along the shore and floating just off the shore to the point that they actually left a day early. It had a major negative effect on all of us the entire time we were there and especially when we were eating our meals. I called "Bob" the Park Manager (?) Tuesday Morning after seeing Park Staff throwing bags of dead fish into the garbage bin; which was located directly across from our Campsites. He claimed he was not aware of the problem and would 'look into it'. My Daughter also called (unbeknownst to me), and was told he would "look after it". I called again later that day and the next day and was assured he had 'looked after it by instructing the staff not to dump fish in the large garbage bin and that they were also supposedly instructed to pour bleach into the dumpster; which never took place the entire time we were there, and they didn't stop dumping the dead, rotting fish into the dumpster either; nor did they retrieve the dozens & dozens of dead fish from along the shore directly butting up against all the campsites. We were also told that someone had been hired to clean up the dead fish, and that also never happened. It was totally disgusting and unacceptable the way the whole problem was handled by management and staff. Especially did not appreciate being lied to.

love the picnic area with flush bathrooms and everything clean. Even if windy and cold you can go down by the water on thenorth side and be protected from the wind where it is calm and nice for walking. we want to camp next time on the point which would be brutal if windy but lots of sheltored spots too

Great campsites steps from the lake. The campground is in the middle of the lake so is surrounded by water

Very cool finger of land and sand jutting out into the lake. We toured it on bicycles in the off season but it looks like fantastic tent camping goes on here in the summer.

Walking and hiking are free family friendly activities in Osoyoos. There are no washrooms or other amenities here in the winter but you can have a view if Washington state and British Columbia while standing on the point out in zhe lake

The park has great views. Quiet and a great place for locals and visitors. Beaches are quite narrow, and the water is shallow, but best to be careful anyway.

We loved Haynes Point! Such a great camping site - it's easy to understand why it's always so hard to book a spot there. Right on the lake with duck families swimming past all day long.
There were only 3 outhouses for the whole site so the lineups could get quite long, and the campground hosts were quite rude when doing their rounds - not exactly the customer service you would expect from people who work with the public every day.
