Visited the hotel as part of a spa day for my other half’s birthday. We were very disappointed with the whole experience. Masseuses at the spa were lazy, initial consultation form ignored (asked for firm massage targeting triceps). Paid for 2 x 25 minute treatments extra and what was supposed to be a head/scalp massage turned into a lazy 10 minute head scratch - the whole thing experience was rushed. My partner left a necklace behind on the massage bed on top of the towel, we phoned to see if it had been handed in to lost property the following day, all to be told they couldn’t find anything. Pretty evident that the necklace has been stolen. Will not return.

Do NOT sign up to their monthly membership. I chose the £55 per month membership on the 1st of June.
At around the 21st of June, I requested to end my membership at the counter. The lady at the desk said that it will have to be done by email, and that I have to give a month's notice before cancelling.
Essentially I am forced to pay for an extra month (July) when I'm unable to afford it and not planning to use it in July.
They did not tell me when signing up for the Membership that I had to a give an ENTIRE MONTH'S notice. They still haven't responded to my cancellation email after 3 days, when they said they would respond in 2 days.
That's not even the worse part. The whole month of June, the only Steam Room they had was out of order for the whole month. So I also requested a partial refund in that email as well for not providing the services that I paid for in June.
Very bad customer service.

We offer memberships in several ways, including a fixed one month membership for which you would be charged upfront but wouldn’t be asked to sign up for a direct debit. In your case you signed up for our monthly direct debit membership which needs 1 months cancellation notice to cancel with the bank.

Myself and my daughter had a spa day package with afternoon tea.
Parking was tight but we found a space and we were given a pass to put in the car which we weren’t charged for.
The spa … pool was nice but surrounding area small and only 6 loungers available and 4 were already occupied. There is a jacuzzi, steam and sauna cabins around the pool, both cabins were very dark and bulbs needed replacing. Ceiling tiles in the pool area were dirty, cracked and some missing.
The best area is the relaxation room, which was lovely with loungers and music. The massage I had was great especially the hot oil head massage.
Afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco was good and the food was tasty.
All the staff were friendly, all in all it was an enjoyable day. Thanks.

We booked for a spa day and night in the hotel. Added to this we booked 2 treatments costing £150 - we went to the spa before our treatment, there were no beds left to relax which was shame and the facilities were busy. We noticed that other guests had white robes that they were wearing before and after their treatments and around the spa. We enquired if we could also have robes and were told they were in our room. When we went to the room we did not have robes in there. We then enquired at reception to be told only ‘executive’ rooms have robes available. So £150 worth of treatment plus the price of the room and no robe available! Added to this a load of rubbish, including used glasses etc were just left outside our room and the corridors smelt strongly of cigarettes. This may all have been tolerable had the staff acted as if they cared at all. The attitude was that we were a general inconvenience and there was no alternative offered to the lack of robes and seemingly no care. The treatment themselves were nice but this didn’t stop what should have been a lovely break away feeling rather lack lustre. We would not visit this hotel again.

Thank you for your review. Robes are given as standard to anyone who has booked a spa day or stay at the hotel, and if someone has booked an executive room or suite in the main hotel. In your case you booked a lodge room and separate treatments, robes wouldn’t be given as standard but are available on request subject to availability. I am sorry that we didn’t have any to offer you on this occasion.
With regards to the team, generally speaking we receive high praise for their hard work customer service, it is a shame you didn’t feel the same, my apologies.
If you consider booking with us in the future please let us know your requirements in advance so we can do our best to look after you.

The place is okay but I don’t believe it’s good enough quality for the money. Staff seemed miserable and like they were burdened when spoken too. Made myself and my partner feel ever so uncomfortable.

I tried to book a spa day for my daughter and i as she is about to turn 18 and it was like pulling out my own teeth. The lady who answered the phone in the Bluewater spa was so unhelpful, offereed no suggestions only answereed my questions with a basic one or two word answer. I jknow you are overworked at the moment but really, without satisfied customers how do you expect to progress!!

Just wow! Had a 55 min full body massage with Kasha which was the best massage I have ever had, such talent. The spa is a calm, quiet and very professional space within the hotel. Fully recommend.

Fab time at the Spa
This Spa exceded my expectations. The place is a little tired but there is everything you could want, large pool, jaccuzi, steam room, sauna and relaxation room.
I had 2 treatments with Yolina who gave me the best shoulder, back and neck massage, followed by a very relaxing fascial.
I hope her manager sees this because Yolina definitely deserves a shout out.
This is a good venue with amazing treatments on offer and l intend to return

I had a christmas gift idea for my Lovely Daughter inlaw. And my beautiful Grand daughter. What i thought could be better than a Pamper/Spa day THEY could share together. It i think would have to be NOT tied to a date because she (Kat) works away often, And Evie has school. So i'm looking for NOT too expensive trips for them to be totally spoiled for a day. Tips or advice would be really welcome..

Lovely gift idea but I’m not sure if your grand daughter would be too young if she’s still at school. Maybe the best thing to do would be to phone Bluewater Spa. They are really helpful and very nice. 😀

I booked a Spa Day through Groupon. Facilities included a good sized gym, indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. There were several loungers around the pool.
They also have the beauty treatments & a room to relax in afterwards.
I have been 3 times already & have another 1 planned for next month.
I think you can probably book the spa facilities direct with the hotel but I wouldn't think that you could just pay for a swim alone.
