A delight for the little ones nestled amidst the quaint countryside near Ashford, Kent. While not as expansive as some other wildlife attractions, this intimate centre is perfect for a fun-filled morning or afternoon out with the little ones. Upon arrival, you'll find yourself greeted by a cozy, albeit small, site that could do with a bit of a revamp. However, what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in charm and child-friendly activities. The staff, were incredibly warm and welcoming, with a clear focus on ensuring the children have a memorable experience. For the kids, there's plenty to keep them entertained. During our visit, we were delighted to find an Easter trail, complete with mini prizes for completing fun challenges along the way. The highlight, was the opportunity to interact with the adorable animals, including baby lambs and, of course, the reindeers. Feeding and stroking these gentle creatures was an unforgettable experience. While the facilities could use a general revamp, including some updates to accommodate the needs of visitors, the true magic of the centre lies in its simplicity and the joy it brings to its youngest visitors. Overall, our visit to the Reindeer Centre was a delightful experience. With its friendly staff, engaging activities, and the chance to get up close and personal with some wonderful animals, it's certainly a worthwhile outing for families with children under 10. Plus, the reasonable prices make it excellent value for money.

Heard mixed reviews on this venue but our experience was excellent. The staff were so lovely and friendly, Santa was brilliant with my children and did not rush us like some other venues. The reindeers were beautiful and unlike some of the other reviews, I thought they looked in good condition and antlers do come off male reindeers in December so people shouldn’t be alarmed seeing this! The snow room I couldn’t get my kids out of and the softplay is small but perfectly good enough for this type of experience. Thank you for a magical family day out - we will be back!

My friend and I booked this as a real festive day out with the kids. Our booking was a 10.30am and we left at 11.20am- all for the sum of well over £100.
The venue is real spit and sawdust- not a nice venue to drive upto, just an old farm shed.
We went to see Santa, he was fine to be fair but nothing that magical. Then that led into a few walk through rooms. The rooms absolutely stunk of stagnant water and it’s was all really tired and naff and the kids said the models were creepy.
We then went to see the reindeer, these we quite impressive look at initially however once spending some time with them I felt sorry for them.
They were not looking healthy unlike the only perfect looking one just before you went to see Santa.
Their antlers were bleeding and there seemed too many in the enclosures.
The soft play was tiny and the paper snow room kept them entertained for 2 minutes.
The whole place was so shabby and just totally underwhelming.
All on all my friend and I felt it was a massive rip off and wouldn’t come again.

This was really good. We took our 13 year old. I would say this is geared more for under 10's. It was very festive and staff were looking and feeling festive.

Visited with three grandchildren who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Santa was delightful and their gifts were the best they have ever received from a Santa visit. Great efforts made with the decor and animations- old fashioned but charming. They loved seeing and feeding all of the animals and getting up close with the lovely reindeer. Would certainly recommend a visit.

I honestly don't know how anyone can review this experience less than 5*!! The play barn is excellent, the animals are great, the Santa is brilliant and the staff are friendly and fantastic. The gifts from Santa are really good too and the grotto is awesome! It's in a farm so - no, it's not a sterile environment, but that's great for kids that just want to run around in their wellies! The snow room was such a good idea, our grandson loved it and he couldn;t believe it when Santa said to him, 'you need to be asleep nice and early on Christmas eve, not like last year!' that was genius!! Seriously, if you can still get tickets please go along - it's well worth it.

Travelled from the central belt to take our small grandson to visit the reindeer and Santa. What a disappointment! Santa was totally lacking in personality, looked miserable and hardly interacted with the children. The reindeer were lying in the paddock. I would have thought it might have been possible to bring one nearer to the boundary fence to let the children see them closer at hand. The girl giving the talk was the only saving grace. She was very informative and answered questions.

We went here today as a family. Santa and the animals were great. The presents were very good. Unfortunately some of the staff working on the desks were a bit rude that spoiled the day a bit.
Also one of our party,a cater, couldn't make it due to sickness however they have a no refund policy which is not particularly ethical.

Great day out with the residents who I work with...they loved it
They cater for all disabilities and made them and us carers all welcome.
£20 to get in and includes present which is actually a good gift..
Reindeer to feed and stroke,farm animals to see and pet,toys to play with,scenes to see and lots of photo opportunities.
Small cafe there, not badly priced
Worth a day out
Staff and obviously santa great!

What a wonderful place! Amazing experience, very well planned out! Something interesting all the way along. We visited on a rainy day and it did not affect our visit. All of Santa's elves were fantastic!

I have looked into it, I asked at my last visit , I was told that some people have been known to walk from Pluckley Station but it is a long walk, so maybe train to there and get a cab

Yes there is a cafe and when I went they sold hot dogs and burgers. you can get hot and cold drinks and if you buy a hot drink you can keep your Christmas mug.. not badly priced either

When we was there we found out that they are open on the 25th December by appointment only so I don't know if that is there last day or they do any other days in the New Year. Sorry I can't be of more help to you.

Hello. it's open 10.00 til 16.00 there are several big picnic tables inside. They really don't mind if you bring your own food. There are some well stocked basins in the barn so you don't have to keep going to the toilets to wash your hands.
