We went there inside the dona aurora quezon house..the house is cold...the old stuff is still in there...the living room and library is nice.

起初，我以為這是菲律賓總統的原始住宅。但是，我在互聯網上研究出它是一個副本。過去留下的唯一建築物就是是石頭基礎。遺憾的是，這裡沒有任何展示或通知板解釋有關建築物。裡面有一些家具和畫作。但我不確定它們是是否原創的。我拿了博物館門票給服務員看，就可以在房子周圍免費漫遊。

I was expecting it more of like Casa Manila where they were able to preserve even the most antique and vintage furniture just to give the people an idea what it’s like to live during the Spanish era but this place was almost barren except for some furnitures in the living room, study area and dining area.
I thought it housed some of Aurora’s personal items but it was more of like a gallery because of the paintings and photos on display. It did get to preserve the exterior of the building tho.
Anyway, I love how it gives an aura of the simple living back then where windows are completely open for the breeze to come in and to see what’s happening on the street. Very nostalgic.

House of Aurora Aragon Quezon
Historical site in Front of the Cathedral where the family of the Wife of the first President of the Philippine republic lived.
It has already been renovated , re constructing it to copy the original house. The only original structure still there are the 4 pillars which are the foundation under the house . But the feel and the house , along with the original artifacts , does bring you back to the spirit of what stands there before . There are storyboards and guides on site to help you appreciate the House more.
Should take about only 30 minutes to tour . Do swing by if already in town , after visiting the cathedral

Its nice to see old houses..... brings back good old memories.
Yes it is an old house but it is well maintained.
Nice to see some memorabilias.
Bringing my children here gives them the feel of the actual history which the textbook cannot give.

You must go here first before going to museu baler. 30 pesos per person .when entering museu baler just present the receipt and its free entrance. Old small house with lots of painting and old items.

compare to one house that we visit in Cebu. This place is well maintained, but sad cause there are no in house guide and we learn nothing from this place. Please please please, make room for improvement.some people are just clueless and guides might help. Thank you.

The Quezon's house is very simple and maintained very well. You will appreciate how simple life is back then and the humble beginnings of the family. Furniture are intact and the place is well maintained.

This is a good stop for history lovers. The guides are also passionate in storytelling, so that's an extra. You get good photos of rare historical pieces, plus a good grasp of why heroes are exactly what they are now - people we look up to.
