We stopped here for lunch on the way into Hana. The have about 3 covered picnic tables and bathrooms across the street. We knew we wanted to take a dip until my 9 year old saw people jumping from the atop the waterfall and she wanted in. The water was refreshing (although slippery in some places so bring the correct shoes) and she did several jumps. She had such a fun time she wanted to stop here again on the way out the next day. Since it was the end of the day, we pretty much had the place to ourselves and she continued to jump from the waterfall for what seem like an endless amount of times. She had a blast and we all had a great, relaxing time here.

I'm a snorkeler, and I loved snorkeling there. Of course the water is crystal clear. You see a few things here you don't see anywhere else on the island, like the underwater bubbles from a big waterfall, and large black crawfish (what the locals call "prawns"). I'd set up a crawfish trap if they let me. (I didn't see any fish though.) You access the falls by a small trail right by the bridge on the road. The pond is probably around 20 feet deep.
The water is cold, but after your two-minute body temp adjustment period, is quite refreshing. Make sure you wear some sort of swim shoes because you have to walk about 20 feet on uneven rocks to get to the water. Unlike with the salt water, you come out feeling very clean, no need to shower. Of course you shouldn't drink the water, but it sure is tempting. Parking is free and there are a few picnic tables (even some covered ones). There's also a restroom. It's in the rainforest, so even if it's sunny one moment, it could start raining the next. There is a small bridge for walking right over the falls (but being in the water is much better IMHO).
After snorkeling, I just left my bathing suit on to drip dry for a bit, then sat on a towel in the car and dried off with the windows down on my way out. You don't even have to change clothes afterwards. I'm definitely going again when I have the chance, but this time, I'm bringing some water purification pills.

This was one of our favorite Road to Hana stops. It was nice that the waterfalls were right off the trail so our young children could get the full swim in a Hawaiian waterfall experience.

This was a good place to see two waterfalls with one stop. People (including our guide) were jumping off the taller one into the pool below. We were content with wading in the pools.

This is a nice little waterfall at a park along the Road to Hana. You can stretch your legs, use the restroom and see the waterfall.

Gordon Ramsey said that on the Hana Highway there are waterfalls around every corner. He was not joking. Some are more impressive than others and some are better photo ops than others. This particular waterfall is very pretty, you can swim in the basin if you choose and it is an easy hop off hop on stop for the guided tours.

This would be 4 stars if it wasn't so busy. It's right off the road and easy to access the swimming area. The pinned location on the Trip Advisor map is incorrect as of today. Look up the location on Google Maps for accuracy.

ハナまでの道路は狭く、曲がりくねっているため、ちょうどよい休憩ポイントでした。トイレがありました。近くに小さい滝があり、泳いでいる人もいました。

Stopped in for a quick dip on our Road to Hana tour. It was very refreshing. There are lots of rocks, make sure you have some water shoes. Definitely worth the stop.

Good place to stop and use the restrooms. There is also a nice little waterfall just off the road. You might be able to see some idiot jumping off the cliff into the pool (2 idiots on the day we were there).

I hear that there is a bacteria (leptospirosis) a person can get from swimming in the waterfall pools. Is it safe to swim here?
