Not for friends groups, feels like in a funeral, they making a bad show that you not aloud to dance and sing, and inside are very boring, and in case you pay and don't want to get in you will not gonna get a refund and there attitude became very mean

Level of unprofessional of their staff is mind blowing.

If you are some average Georgian and NOT DROPPING NAMES, don’t bother to be excepted in this winery!!! They try to be exclusive. For what? I have traveled the world, I have been almost everywhere and never have I ever experienced the level of disrespect to their Own people. It makes me sick to my stomach that realizing the Soviet era still has influence in Georgia. You still need to use some names order to get served. How disrespectful and disgusting, that is!!!!

It’s ok, I can take my kids back to France or Tuscany wineries to have way more pleasant experience than some average wineries in Kaxeti!!!! .

Khareba is imported to very few other countries, but in Georgia, it has been recommended to us by locals left and right. After tasting the European style 2018 Saperavi, we made it a mission to go to the winery. It was a short but wonderful wine tasting at this winery and it did not disappoint. Just a note this is a factory cellar and there were lots of tourists despite Covid-19 so we understood what type of experience we were in for.

Our guide Mariam was quick to recognize we knew our wines and wanted to taste some of their more special bottles so she pulled out her own personal favorites. I don't know how she knew what we were looking for but we ended up buying four bottles of some of the most unique red grapes and wine they have available.

If you are reading this and plan on going, I recommend asking about the 2019 Qvevri Aladasturi and 2017 Aged Dry Red wine. You are welcome!

Avoid at all costs. You are corralled like livestock through the tunnel and the ‘guides’ are terribly lazy and uninterested in answering any questions you may have. Of all the lovely places to visit in Georgia, there is no reason to patron this winery.

I have no idea if the place is actually nice or not because we needed to quit after 200 meters walking with the guide. First corridor he stopped and show us a wall and I asked what is it and he said I am not geologists so no information and next stop. He literally yell my wife and another lady like, listen me right now and you can talk outside in 15 minutes with an angry look. I am not a kid nor my wife. I didn’t come to your shop to be yelled at. So Zaza the guide please go and do other job if you can not control yourself. Don’t give a damage to business at least.

This was part of our one-day wine tour and had the best wines in my opinion. We had to wait a while outside for our tour to start. You don't go too far into the tunnels, but take something warm, or they can provide you with some blankets.

The wine tasting we had was good, with some good nibbles (food) to help wash the wine down too.

Said to be the biggest wineries in the country and storing their wine in deep underground.
Visited last June 2019
We were greeted by a song and dance number from the staff
You have to pay for wine tasting (find attached pic) including a tour in the underground - one tour guide will explain the history and evolution, making the wine, storing the wine and gave the wine tasting
Bring jacket as it cold inside the tunnel

Нам посоветовали этот магазин и это самое яркое открытие в Грузии.
Лучшего вина я в жизни не пробовал.
Киндзмараули за 300р/литр просто шикарное. Всем рекомендую

I'm sure there's enough people reviewing the wine and the tunnels that this winery are famous for so I'll take a different angle. While it was tasty wine and I liked the addition of a little cheese and bread to the tasting, the whole thing was a bit too commercial for my friends and I compared to our other Georgian experiences. What we really enjoyed here, though, was the opportunity to learn how to make some of the delicious food that we had been eating throughout our travels in this interesting country. We made churchkhela, kinkhali, khachapuri, and salty bread in this cool round oven. Then, we got to eat our efforts! A very cool and unexpected experience during our wine-filled day in this region.
