As long as I have lived in Georgia, I never knew about this place at all lol. I had a wonderful time at this place. The weather was great along with having fun with my husband's family was just awesome. Great day and great fun to be had.

I believe the name has changed and it’s no longer there Beach but a water park that is close to the park. You can picnic in the park and walk over to the water park and swim relax in the water whatever! We enjoyed it and the $20 fee for the water park was excellent! I would definitely recommend!

Park is closed for construction. The walking trails are open but need a police presence due to illegal drug usage. The park has become a haven for drug users and drug transactions in the parking areas and pavilions. Be very careful and never walk alone.

This attraction is closed while the new rec center is being constructed. It hasn't been open for two seasons.

I live two munhtes from the beach ach sn every year its been closed lately for movies or remomodeling ect.... I have no idea how this information is provided. I see so many upset families that drive miles and hours. My kids gwt uoset however at least its a two minute littme drive but a big disappointment vs both... Communication geys a F

There's a main venue that's part of Lakeview Complex for concerts etc. The entire family will enjoy the BEACH at Clayton County International. Most folk don't know that the Beach at Clayton County Intl was originally built for the 1996 Olympic Games for volley ball competition.beach volleyball competition. WE will be attending Taste of Clayton May 18,2019. You can attend movies. The Beach is tentative closed for 2019 season however there are so many other activities to enjoy. When the beach is open the Admission packages for groups are cheap. There are pavilion rentals available.

The park is beautiful with miles of walking trails through nature. Plenty of parking. Playground for children. Fishing and picnic areas. There is so much that you can do in this park

Small beach, very active, plenty of grills and space. Family environment with public restrooms. Every now and then a vendor selling ice cream novelties will drive through selling cool treats.

It is so sad that such a nice place will not allow you to bring your own food. A lot of older people will not patronize the facility because of certain health issues that requires them to eat certain foods. I think certain alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine should be allowed.

Weather had been rather cool the week prior to our visit. The day was sunny but afternoon showers were expected. As the day wore on, the skies were partly cloudy. Due to the above mentioned conditions, the water was rather cold for this transplanted Florida girl. However this had no impact on my grandson. He, being six, swam in both the kiddie area (which is very nice and well attended by life guards) and the lake (which is also well attended by lifeguards).
Several umbrella tables were available when we arrived after opening. And it was also employee appreciation day for the park. There were floats and other sundries available for rent or purchase. Fireworks were also planned for the evening. After being there for 6 hours, this fair skinned girl needed to bounce. Want to go back and take advantage of walking trails and park amenities outside of the beach park.

Closed 2019 for construction. This beach has been closed most of the time in the last few years.
