We hiked this location twice on our trip. Once we followed the Brickyard trail to the Cobblestone Beach Loop and then we came back and did the entire Brickyard trail. Both hikes were great, about 4 miles each time with moderate hills. Watch out for loose rocks and roots, but a great time. Wonderful scenery at the end of both hikes...

Excellent walking paths. Nice view. Dogs are allowed and you can also mountain bike in the area. Down a long dirt road to get to the area which we parked and “hiked” from but as we were walking the various paths we noted there were other ways to arrive. Tick spray is a must. On the top of the “BIG” hill there is a place to sit and take in the views.

The bus drivers are so helpful. We started at Great Bight Rock trail and Menemsha Hills trail is down the road. A beautiful lush trail to overlooks, beach if you want to climb, a brick work site with foundation evident. Extreme hills down to village of Menemsha but the bus will pick you up across from fish market and bring you back up- we were on bikes. Strange to seem so alone but hear sounds of new building going up. The Land Trust protects the property

I dragged my family to the menemsha hills. There was parking, but during peek times you might have a tough time finding parking. Not a lot of people, but the people we passed wore masks and we all let the other group pass so there was social distancing. The views are beautiful. We tried to hike to the beach, but the grass was way too high and we were concerned about ticks. The path definitely needs to be cleaned. There’s a couple different paths to take so you can definitely spend a couple of hours there just remember your bug spray and to check for ticks when you are done.

Sit on the beach and dream about the adventure of yesteryear in this darling little village filled with nice folks and a few quaint shops.
Eat on the water at Larsens or picnic back to the beach.
Restrooms- and places for buses to park.

This is a must see! A hike with friends through the oak hammock out to the absolutely stunning vista. Continued down to beach to explore the shoreline and all of the unique rocks. Came across a few folks but not crowded and could enjoy spots without interruption. Port-o-John in parking area. Use North Road address and do not turn into Goswold as some navigation suggests. Parking area clearly marked.

It is pretty amazing that a wonderfully beautiful area like this is not heavily used in the busy summer season, but like Great Rock Bight, there wasn't a lot of people here. This Preserve is home to the second highest point on the Island (300 feet) and affords the visitor some wonderful views at the vistas overlooking Vineyard Sound and looking out to the Elizabeth Islands. It is a great hike, although like Great Rock Bight there are a series of ups and down and some climbing, but not too vigorous, especially if you take it slowly. Along the way, you encounter various Vineyard habitats: from woodland and wetlands, to a coastal plain with cliffs. There are some pretty impressive boulders along the way also. It is overseen by the Trustees of the Reservation. To get there, go to 345 north Road, its official address. Along the way, you will come to Trustees Lane and enter there.

Menemsha Hills is an absolutely beautiful area on Martha's Vineyard! There are three overlooks, and one of those overlooks is the second-highest point on the island. Each lookout has beautiful views of Martha's Vineyard, Vineyard Sound, and Cape Cod.
The trail is very well-maintained, and isn't what I'd consider a hike; there are definitely hills, but they're not very steep, so almost anyone can enjoy this gem on the Vineyard!
