Had time off on a Friday afternoon during this heatwave & expected huge crowds “down the Cape”. I was pleasantly surprised, after getting off the exit before the bridge, how easy it was to get here. It wasn’t crowded & had all the amenities like parking, bathrooms & a concession stand. Beach was beautiful, water was clean & jetty was a fun walk. I’ll be back for sure!

Beach has tons of parking and beach space. Even on the day we went and got one of the last parking spaces there was still plenty of room on the beach. The sand is soft and the water is clear. Walking the rocks was a fun activity too, great spot for pictures. YOU MUST VISIT THE CONE!!! Cute snack shack with awesome food, ice cream and staff. We stopped every day we were visiting. We will be back for sure!!

Our bicycling takes us to this end of the trail, beautiful beach park. We often watch the big waves splashing into the rocks and sandy beach! On a sunny warm day, this is one of the best beach park we have been in! Picnic tables and benches abound!

Clean place, great conservation area, beach is clean, white sand, beautiful, clear water, ample parking lot, would definitely come b ack!

This is a great beach but it is rocky and the waves can get fast and crazy very quick while I know this is out of people control it is still something you need to note before going with young children. The concession stand has really good food and the bathrooms a normally clean and spacious. They also have a camping section that allows RVs and trailers. The camping section has a nice playground and space to park and set up. Overall it’s not a awful beach but also there’s not anything special about it.

Lovely beach, However the person that runs it is very difficult. They close in the summer around noon and let cars line up even though there are spaces in the parking lot. I bike in past the line and the parking lot is nearly empty. Then they open again around 2. This winter the gates are closed at 3pm even though the days are getting longer and walking in the afternoon after work would be nice. If you park near the gate and walk in you get a yellow ticket reminding you there is no parking there year round even when you're the only car on a snowy day. They kinda suck the fun out of going there on and off season.

This is a great place to visit a beach without fighting the traffic to other beaches on the Cape. We visited here in late September after the busy season. I would recommend this as a place to be if you don’t want to be too far from greater Boston.

Went for a late summer beach day with my 15 year old son. Didn’t want to drive too far and wanted to use my mass state park pass. After a little research decided to try this beach. So happy I did! You don’t have to go over the bridge so not sure if it’s technically on the Cape, but it’s nicer than some of the beaches over the bridge. The day was beautiful, the waves were pretty good, not much seaweed, clear water-not too cold. I loved the dunes and the jetty! There weren’t big crowds. Once you got past the initial entry from the boardwalk it really opened up so social distancing was not an issue. Great beach-we’ll be back!

Friday afternoon packed!! Too crowded. Parking lot and beach access is too far from the actually beach. Stay far away from this disaster.

I just love this beach, it's calm water is perfect for me, the water is warm enough to swim, in August, at least.
Last I knew they had accessible chairs for those who need them. I was going to take my quadriplegic friend to the beach for the first time in a very long time. A staff member offered to meet us in the parking lot so we could transfer her into the special beach chair. She got sick she hasn't made it there yet, we're hoping for next year.

From what I'm seeing, camping before May seems iffy. I suggest contacting the Commonwealth of Massachusetts directly. This is New England and cool/cold weather would be expected at that time of year.
