I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband a year ago only to find out- when I tried calling to confirm my Oct 6, 2024 driving experience- on a phone recording that the company has closed !! The customer has to assume the job of getting their refund! AND, if it was not charged on a credit card, you have to chase after your bank to which I've been denied !!! I spent $467.95 ! on this gift, not an inexpensive purchase ! I've emailed them and no response to anything !!! This is pure deceit and disrespect for your loyal customer base. Rusty Wallace must been sick for allowing them to brand his name. Worst !

Our event was cancelled, and we weren't notified. A family member came in from out of town for this. He spent money coming here, and we spent money driving in from Missouri only to be told at the gate it was cancelled. I attempted to call the number, but only got a recording. I have sent an email requesting my money back, but the website says the email will be sparsely checked. I will have to go to my bank tomorrow to figure out how to get my money back. However, an inconvenience fee/gas reimbursement would be nice considering how heavily your documentation mentioned that if we missed for any reason, our money would not be refunded. But it seems fine to be cancelled on and still not give out money back?

I bought this for my boyfriends birthday and he absolutely loved it. He did the 12 laps and I had forgotten to also purchase the 3 lap ride along. His time was for 9:00 and we got there at 8:30. At that time of morning we had no problems checking in as there is only one person working the registration area. At that time we were also able to purchase the ride along. He had a drivers meeting where they went over the track details and gave them informative details regarding the car and driving it. Next he went to another area where he suited up and picked out a helmet. There was a man there that was very helpful and checked their helmets to make sure they fit properly. Next he had the ride along which he was glad that he did as it gave him a feel for the car and the track. After the ride along he waited just a few minutes for a car to do his laps. Staff were helpful and thorough in making sure safety measures were met. He wore an earpiece so that he could hear the spotter (each driver gets a spotter). I’ve read other reviews where it was difficult to hear the spotter but he said it was crystal clear. After he was finished we went back to the registration area to pick up his photos (we had purchased the photo plaque). I was glad that we purchased the photos - even though I took a lot of photos as well. They’re photographer was right down on pit row and took a photo of him sitting in the window (half in/out of the window) and took another of him on the track. I thought it was worth the money. Anywho . . . it was a great experience and he loved it.

I originally bought my boyfriend 8 laps for his 50th Birthday last year. Due to weather we had to postpone and did not get to use it until this past Sunday 9-16-18. Fortunately I was able to buy 4 more laps for his 51st Birthday. Over all He LOVED it. He had an amazing experience and can't wait to do it again next year. His only complaint was when he bough an additional 3 laps with an experienced driver he thought it would be more of a training course. However, It was not. The diver took him for the ride of his life. He said it was a thrill ride and yet scared the crap out of him at the same time. He never had a chance to ask a question. He would have liked to have been able to ask questions and have some issues or concerns addressed.

I had a few issues of my own being a spectator.

1.)Would have been nice to be able to purchase a water or soda or some kind of snack while waiting it was 80+ degrees and we were not made aware that none of the snack stands would not be open.

2.) To have more people at the check in station there was one girl that was handling check in, additional laps, merchandise, and to see if video was working . had to stand in line again after his race to see if his video had recorded (it had). It would have been nice if there were different lines for the additional purchases.

Over all this was a great experience and a great gift to give. My Boyfriend stated it was the Best gift he had ever received!!!! Would definitely buy again but will remember to bring a small cooler with cold beverages & snacks.

I got this for my fiance for his birthday. He was originally scheduled for July 1 but due to the hot weather they had to cancel. It was very easy to reschedule and he just did his 8 laps on 9/16. We had scheduled for 1pm but had to check out of our hotel at 11 so we went down to see if he could get in early before our drive back to CT. Everyone was so accomodating and he was able to do the 12pm run.
He definitely wants to do it again and we will have to get him many more laps because in this case. 8 was definitely not enough!!

We went as a group of 3 and all had an exhilarating experience. The staff from check in, training, pit crew and spotter were great. Of the 12 laps purchased, laps 1&2 were used adjusting yourself to the car and track, with the remainder a full out pleasure. We’re going to make this an annual event and wish a larger venue was nearby. I highly recommend a ride-a-long and / or drive your own NASCAR to all.
Thank you, Mike

I did the NASCAR Experience last year, and decided to try the Rusty Wallace Experience this year; both were at NHMS in Loudon, NH. These are similar programs, with significant differences.

The Andretti Experience (which I also did at NHMS) / NASCAR Experience are VERY professionally done. Think Penske running a driving program for touristas; everything timed to the nanosecond, racks of pro Nomex suits, helmets that fit, individual ear buds you keep, and 2-way communications.

Very important for me - and, I think, anyone else taking this - is the fact you get a certificate with your top speed on it. That IS, after all, why we came - to drive at speed.

HOWEVER - All this comes at a price.

First, it costs more. You pay for all that.

Second, I found the NASCAR Experience stifling; particularly so because the Indy experience was not.

I lost speed because they put cars out from the pits in front of me when I was entering Corner 1, and was always being told "Idle! Idle! Idle!" in the corners. If I wanted to coast through corners - hardly a "racing experience" - I could play on the highway on/off ramps; not waste $250 - 300 and drive 3 hrs. round trip to NH.

Wallace is not as fancy, not as pretty, and I think the little speakers on pads wedged in over-sized helmets (the SMALLEST was a Large) suck. I had trouble hearing my instructor, and missed a "yield for pass" order. The Large helmet, being too big, was also a minor impediment to vision.

That said, I was allowed to DRIVE the car; very little criticism other than not keeping the correct line. IF you've already driven one of these programs, you will appreciate that. I was NEVER told to idle/coast through the corner; I pushed myself, held the line, and was told I was doing well.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. When being assigned cars, there was a Fusion right in front of me. I asked the staffer, if it wouldn't screw up his driving order, if I could have the Fusion instead of the car I was assigned, as I drive a Fusion (yes; obviously I know it's just a plastic shell, but.....).

He checked the log, said "Sure" - and I got into #2; almost certainly one of Wallace's own cars. I also saw a car previously driven by Danica Patric, and an ex-Jarret car. You can also go into the garage and see them - just stay out of the mechanics' way.

So - If you've never done this, and/or want the certificate showing your speed, do the NASCAR Experience.

If you want to DRIVE the car and not be bothered (assuming you're driving it competently), go Rusty.

This was a gift for my retirement from the Army and probably the best one I've ever received. The Rusty Wallace Racing Experience is best described as Awesome. The prices were very reasonable for the opportunity to drive a real racecar on a NASCAR track. You receive an great safety brief and car operations class. There were extra laps, a ride along with a professional driver for better familiarization, insurance and go-pro video package all for around $400.00. The staff was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor and make sure you add the ride along to become better acquainted with both the power of the car and the track. Your only regret will be when you finish and wishing you had added more laps.

This was purchased as a birthday present for me by my g/f as it was certainly a bucket list event. Having grown up racing dirt bikes, driving trucks and heavy equipment and watching NASCAR this was a gift I will never forget. They allow you to bring friends/family to watch and we all enjoyed the experience. I have a new appreciation for the NASCAR drivers. I had 12 laps driving on my own and 3 laps with a driver. I did the 3 laps first and highly recommend that as this was a huge rush. As we entered turn 1 of my first lap, I thought this guy had a destiny with the wall! Never thought we would get through the first turn but you begin to realize how important the tires are and how well the car handles through that those turns. After my 3 laps I was ready to see what I could do. I purchased the video - which was a must have and admittedly, I could see how tentative I was on my first few laps getting the feel of the car. 12 laps was a great number to build confidence and began to see what you could do. They coach you through a headset and when we all watched my video you could see how much better I got at hitting the marks. I can't wait to go back and I still can't believe that they can 3 abreast into a turn on Sundays!
