Thank you Chris for all your help getting myself and my husband sorted with our ski rentals. We really appreciated your efforts in ensuring I was fitted properly. This team is extremely customer focused and extremely well versed in boot fitting. We were so impressed by our experience there.

Another trip to McSporties. As always super service and friendly help. Got my skis mounted and DIN Set. I prefer to have them do it instead of in Seattle. They did it overnight, which really means they did it in 2 hours even though they were very busy.
Since they were new I wanted to have time to wax them, but they did it for me, including a scrap and brush!
Professional and the epitome of Sun Peaks vibe. All is good and cool....

Absolutely stoked with the customer service at McSporties, especially Chris who sorted me out with a last minute rental bike. After explaining my situation with a busted rim on my bike and only having limited time left in the bike park, they acted upon it quickly in setting up a bike for me. They had great pricing and rentals per hour which is hard to come by and was very fitting for my situation. They even let me store my busted bike in their shop whilst I enjoyed the last few hours in the bike park which was a very thoughtful addition to what was already a great customer service experience. Really appreciate the help & support they provided, would recommend to others who are visiting sun peaks for rental bikes!

The staff and the service were amazing. I had my skis tuned by Peter who did an awesome job. I own very expensive DPS skis so I wanted someone very experienced tuning them and Peter was the man for the job. I dropped my skis off at 5pm and they were ready for skiing the next morning at 8am. They are very professional and they will put any bevel you want on your edges. My first run on my newly sharpened skis was amazing. They gripped extremely well on ice without any chatter. I also bought new Leki ski poles and merino wool glove liners. I'd highly recommend them to handle all your skiing needs.

Had an amazing experience here at McSporties and would highly recommend others to come here for all their ski-related needs. For starters, the people that work here are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are incredible at what they can do with boot adjustments, was very helpful in selecting new ski boots, and did an amazing job tuning up my skis.
BOOT ADJUSTMENTS:
I had a very painful pressure point in one of my ski boots. I went to a DIFFERENT store down the street in the village. They tried enlarging the boot five times across three days, but the modifications they made were completely ineffective and the pressure point remained. To make matters worse, they had the gall to charge me twice for the ineffective modifications and in the end told me that's the best they can do. Then I came to McSporties and saw Mark (one of the bootfitters here). Even with just the initial adjustment, there was a huge improvement in the comfort of the boot. He suggested to ski with it for a day as it's possible to further enlarge the area but impossible to shrink it down. I ended up coming back the next day and after the 2nd and final adjustment the boot now fits perfectly, and I no longer have any issues with the pressure point. Mark also checked the canting of the boot to ensure my legs were perfectly centered in the boot. He also heated the existing liners to re-mold to my feet, which further improved the comfort of the boots. Mark did an amazing job with all the boot adjustments. Such a huge difference in professionalism, technique, and experience compared to the service I received at the other store down the street!
NEW BOOT SELECTION:
I came back to McSporties on another day when Beckett (another bootfitter) helped me find a new pair of boots as my current boots were getting old. Unlike other bootfitters I've had in the past who only measured length and width of my foot, he also measured the instep height of my ankles to ensure I had the correct volume of the boot. He also asked questions about my weight and ski ability to ensure I had an appropriate boot flex. He brought down multiple boots to try in both sizes rounded up and down to get a feel as different manufacturers have varying sizing. Since the store only had two models in stock that were appropriate for me, he made suggestions of other models that may be appropriate for me to try. He's very caring to ensure I pick the best boot that fits me, even if that meant I had to go to a different store to get a model that McSporties didn't carry. I very much appreciate his honesty and no-pressure to make a sale, despite all the time he spent with the boot fitting.
SKI TUNING:
Finally, I got my skis tuned here and they did an amazing job. They filled in a gouge at the base, and they did such a good job I have to look carefully to see where the patch was. They also sharpened and waxed my skis, and I noticed a huge difference the next day, which happened to be perfect timing for hard-packed snow conditions.
OVERALL:
McSporties has offered me services far better than what I've experienced at other stores in the Sun Peaks village. Although I am out of town, I will definitely be visiting McSporties again the next time I'm at Sun Peaks. I can't recommend this place enough!

We hired 5x mountain bikes from McSporties. They are significantly cheaper than the other options along the main street, mainly because most places only hire for a full day, whereas McSporties hire bikes by the hour. We do quite a lot of mountain biking in the UK, but the trails in Sun Peaks are on an entirely different scale. We were quite happy going up and down Easy Wind for a few hours.

Right from entering the shop they were on to me carrying a pair of skis like a girl 😄
Peter Wilson knew I was bringing them in for some type of service - (tune and wax) he asked if I know my edge angles, I text Australia within a minute had a response and Peter was set to do the job. I left them overnight picked up next day. Skis were great on snow.
I also read reviews about a guy called Beckett for boot fitting, he was there and he could understand what I was trying to explain going on inside the boot. The problem was fixed with half an hour. Great customer service, friendly and professional. Highly recommend

We visited McSporties many times to rent skis, fix issues with my boots, buy gear and get our boards and skis waxed. Every time we went there they were super friendly, provided valuable and helpful advise and were more than generous with taking the time to help us out. And their mascot (the dog) always left a smile on our face. Highly recommended!!

We hired good skis and boots for our teenagers and skis for my hubby and I. He changed his around most days hunting for the best turning the quickest etc! They smiled and were really helpful. One teenager changed boots for size and comfort and they were great. They were helpful knowledgeable and also fun. They dog was an extra treat! Thanks so much to you all, we will be back.
