Thank you to the lovely Mary who showed myself and my daughter around Inishbofin via horseback. My daughter had a lovely few canters and was delighted with herself! We enjoyed this experience so much we are going back next year!! Mary is lovely and has so much knowledge about the island which is an added bonus. If you are looking for a place to go horseriding whilst in the west, don't miss this opportunity!, thank you Mary and we will see you next year!

Visited Inishbofin recently and spent 2 nights there. Fantastic island with a beautiful beach and tracks for walking. Stopped for lunch from a double decker refurbished bus and had the most amazing food I have tasted in a long time. Bay Cottage B&B is such an amazing find with great accommodation views and breakfast, all within walking distance to most amenities.

My son and I had a wonderful time today out on a one hour trek which took us through the most beautiful scenery breath taking views of the wild Atlantic on inishbofin , the horses were so well behaved and well looked after , our guide Mary was very knowledgeable of both horses and the history of the area which was brilliant it was exactly what we were looking for , I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, we will definitely be back . Thank you Mary.

I left the choice of Connemara pony trek to Connmeara Wild Escapes and I was delighted by their choice of Inishbofin. Definitely less grand than it sounds but what matters is the care, staff and ponies. A very busy place in August but they were unfazed by the drop-ins. I had booked months ahead to be sure and I revelled in a trek with just my volunteer guide. What more could a birthday girl want?

Although we were walk-ins, we were taken care of in the most kind of ways. We took the one hour trip and had a very good time. The ride began with a short but thorough instruction regarding the horses and how to ride them. Then we set out into the beautiful countryside that is Inishbofin. Mary the owner took good care of us and made the trip very special. I would definitely recommend going with them if you wish to make some fun and lasting memories!

What can I say about this place that can do it justice? No frills, just authentic horse riding on stunning routes around the north and west of the Ireland. Mary is so easy deal with. My daughter (9) loved all the various ponies. Have been here for the last 3 yrs and will continue to go horse riding on bofin.

Amazing activity and the best way to see the most of island! Absolutely beautiful! Horses are very friendly, staff is amazing! That is absolutely must to do to discover Inishbofin!

I only went to,the Island for a couple of hours. Was very Nice to see the horses and that they wherr willing to take me on a rode withouten reservation. Only to,bad it was so short, would have love to counter Some more!

Inishbofin is a must see island in Ireland. Beautiful, very relaxing place where time does not exist. If you have busy life, Inishbofin is place for you. One of our highlights was horse riding. The best thing we did in a very long time. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful, horses well trained, makes everything absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!
