Visited here during a visit to Laugharne and are pleased we did. The church is beautiful . There is a car park beside the church which appears to be well used , although not many people seemed to realise that there is a charge of £2 for a say's parking. This is actually very reasonable considering the church is a walkable distance from the town.
Inside the church we were greeted by Pam - one of the wardens . Not only was Pam very knowledgeable about the history of the church itself and the artifacts / points of interest within - she was also very informative about the local area and explained about the triannual festivities taking place during the week of our stay. She also recommended somewhere to eat locally - which was greatly appreciated. Many thanks Pam - you're a star ! We visited the grave of Dylan Thomas in the graveyard adjacent to the church whilst we were there and enjoyed the beautiful view whilst watching a rather large car attempt to drive up the very narrow road between church and graveyard before the driver realised that not only was the road too narrow but it also did not lead to the churchyard ! Drivers beware - ise the car park !

A very evocative graveyard with lots of old graves. Very photogenic. Would be a great place to take children around Halloween.

This is the place that Dylan chose to be buried and it is a lovely atmospheric place to visit. His grave is marked with a simple white cross. His wife Caitlin, who although she outlived him by many years and remarried, is also buried with him.

Although we couldn't get into the church because of Covid, the Graveyard is so atmospheric that it made up for that. Some people think that wandering around graveyards is morbid but they give clues about the social history of the place and this one left a lasting impression. Dylan Thomas' grave is in the newer part of the cemetery and is worth finding for its simple beauty.

What a fantastic church and graveyard , i could have spent a day reading some of those tombstones , From the return of the Battle of Waterloo to some quite sad family tragedies and of course the very unassuming resting place of Dylan Thomas .

This really was a site of pilgrimage for me as I am a massive Dylan Thomas fan. I have to say standing over the great man's grave really affected me and so I had to sit down for a while. I was very lucky that when we visited there was only myself and my partner in the church graveyard so we weren't disturbed.

I wish I'd had taken a pen and paper as I felt like I should write something whilst there, but sadly the thought hadn't entered my mind until we got to the grave.

Dylan Thomas and his wife's grave is highlighted by a cross which stands out amongst the stones. Shame the Church was closed as I understand it is very good.

This church is well worth a visit, set in a wonderful place. The church is a Grade II listed building, constructed of limestone rubble. It consists of three-bayed chancel, four-bayed nave, north transept, south transept, tower, north porch, storehouse (south of chancel centre bay), north vestry and south porch. In 1873-1874, during restoration, the footings of a shorter, narrower nave were identified. The church is known to have been rebuilt by Sir Guy de Brian VII in the later fourteenth century. If you go through the Graveyard and take the little footbridge and cross over the the overspill graveyard you will find the simple grave of the poet and writer Dylan Thomas.

Came here for a nice, relaxing walk. The church is easy to find and can be done alongside Laugharne's other attractions. There are a few photo opportunities here. The main thing that draws people to the church is the grave of poet Dylan Thomas (a white cross) in the cemetery next to the site. However, visitors can still appreciate the architecture of the church and the centuries old trees. Overall, a good place to have a calm hour
