Bad idea coming here on New Years day to experience the famous Peninsula Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. Place was packed. 30 people with prams and little kids queuing up waiting to be served ice cream. Too bad if you wanted to buy the chocolate on display. The options of ice creams wasn't too many to choose from, same as you get anywhere. If you're after famous Ice Creams - Try Timboon in Western Victoria.

We went for a drive just before lockdown (lucky that way) to go by the Flinders and enjoy the amazing ice cream...Being our first time, we enjoyed a lot....
They had 10-12 flavours to choose from, which is worth it... Amongst both of us, we tried 5 flavors which were really yummies.
Maybe you can give Rum n Raisin a miss as that's was Missing the spark but rest was very well balanced sugar levels.
We also tried their hot chocolate which is class apart, think they use their own chocolate flakes and drinking chocolate, which gives it such a silky texture and creamy taste.
Highly Recommended to go there and if you can go in weekdays, that will be even better as it's less crowded then weekends. The servers are friendly and doesn't rush you through to place your order in haste. Keep up the good show guy's.

The service was amazing, the lady who served us twice in 2 days, was so lovely. She went above and beyond when I mentioned that we were purchasing a gift she looked after our chocolate and goodies for us. It is smaller than Yarra Valley but so much quieter! I would rather come here than Yarra Valley for that reason. No tables inside bjt plenty of seating outside (in future I hope they add covered seating). We purchased chocolate coated licorice, Turkish delight, coffee, macaroons etc. All delicious. Same yummy chocolate. If you are passing through, head in. We will definitely be back

Fantastic selection of chocolate with something available for everyone, with a huge range of flavours, white, dark and milk chocolate choices. Take home kits for brownies and hot chocolate whisks. And beautiful ice cream with heaps of flavours to choose from.

Seeing the brand and colours driving past, I was excited but really disappointed, range is very small compared to Yarra Glen & Great Ocean Road. We bought the macaroons we love but the tasted like crap!!

My two children have dairy allergy and we all tried the chocolate sorbet. It was fantastic and we also had the same the next day too! The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble even dealing with COVID rules too.

Visited on a weekday and that was perfect! The chocolate aromas beckoned us inside and there we found that we were only two people amongst only a handful of others. Having visited the other larger Chocolateries, it was a pleasure to browse the fully stocked shelves and not have to be jostled and pushed about by other eager chocolate lovers. A most friendly and helpful assistant offered us tastings and we appreciated her warm and interested manner. This time we just bought chocolate treats, but we’ll definitely be back soon to buy from their gorgeous Easter egg range and enjoy one of their delicious and fresh-looking ice creams. So lucky to have this terrific place on our doorstep. Go visit. You’ll love it!

Having been to the sister stores at Yarra Valley and Great Ocean Road, this venue was a little disappointing in grandeur. Having said this, it still brings all the favourites together in one convenient location (and on the plus side, you don't need to spend hours there). Like the Great Ocean Road venue, they have an artist designing unique Mornington Peninsula inspired packaging for a selection of chocolate blocks, giving it a local touch. Went home with milk/dark almond/macadamia nut clusters (divine), and chocolate coated anzac biscuits in a gorgeous native flora designed 'billy time' tin. Worth a stopover in Flinders.
