Jimmy was great! He took good care of us as beginners, and did a great job helping us see lots of turtles, fish, more. The manager was so friendly and helpful with travel tips, too. Highly recommend!

On two separate days I did a shore dive with Maui Undersea Adventures. Sandy, sloping entry, with 30 - 50 foot max depth. Interesting reef (Wailea), saw green turtles, Hawaiian Ray, frog fish, Trident's trumpet, trigger fish, octopus and many others. 2nd day did the scooter snorkel - really able to cover a lot more of the reef on one tank, very fun. The dive team were very friendly and knowledgeable. Day one I was the only diver and Brandon took just me out. Very special dive, pointed out all sorts of things. 2nd Day I was one of 3 divers and Blaze took us out on scooters. Very unique dive, not only lots to see, but fun to play with the scooters as well! I was staying an the Four Seasons so it was very convenient. Just walked down to the dive shop and walked right to the shore entry. No wasted time in shuttles and motoring to the dive site. Highly recommend this team, location and experience.

Amazing outfit. All new equipment great for those looking for intro. Blaze our guide was fantastic. Knowledgeable, relaxed and provided confidence for all. Connected with kids. Also brought camera for proof of life shots. Worth getting those pics for memories and professional. I brought go pro. These much better.

We did the 10:30 am scooter snorkel tour. I was a little nervous but Rob our guide was fantastic! There were only 4 total in our group si I felt very safe. The scooters were easy to use and so much fun! We got to see a lot of turtles and other fish that we probably wouldn’t have seen without the scooters. We bought the photo package and the pictures and videos are beautiful. I’d highly recommend this tour.

This group is amazing! I am not what you would call “brave” when it comes to underwater experiences, however with this company I feel secure enough to wave and smile as my kiddos head out for a snorkel adventure! My husband has been diving with Blaze and the guys for a few years and has of course tried other companies throughout the years. The security and safety with this company is so far abound everyone else he has went out with there is no comparison. It is NOT easy to impress a 19 year old teenage girl but WOW they managed! Both kiddos say it was the BEST experience ever! We stay at the four season when in Wailea so it’s supper convenient but even when we don’t stay here they make it so easy! Private dives, customized trips for every skill level. Trust me when I say I TRUST only the best! Undersea Adventures make me look like the superhero of our family vacations just by calling the guys and letting them know our travel dates and schedule. They handle the rest! You won’t be disappointed!!!

We dove with blaze and it was fantastic! Saw amazing things. He was really nice and knowledgeable and helpful. We bought the photos at the end and they are so worth it!! Hope to go again soon!

Did a 1-tank afternoon dive with Blaze to squeeze in some scuba while on vacation with non-scuba’ing family members. It was amazing. I was a little rusty (3 years since my last dive) and Blaze made sure to cover everything with me prior to getting into the water so I felt comfortable. Blaze was super engaging-bridging the gap between myself and the ocean life. We played with an octopus! (it crawled up my arm per my request) & he made sure to point out a variety of things I may have otherwise missed (eels, puffer fish, conch, starfish, etc). I’ve been on a lot of dives in the past with a big group but this diving company focuses on smaller group dives which I loved. The more intimate group setting allowed for more individualized attention and really squeezing the juice out of a one hr dive. The price was great especially given the small group setting. He also took amazing underwater photos and videos to remember the experience. I highly recommend & will definitely be back next time I’m in Maui.

I have dove or scooter snorkeled with MUA five times now over the past two years. The staff are extremely organized, fast, charismatic, talented, funny, and very professional. Their scooters and equipment are state of the art, and their tours off Wailea beach showcase the best of Maui's marine life. MUA dive guides are all superb and all have an amazing eye for wildlife, constantly pointing out octopus, eels, and turtles. Their station at the Four Seasons is a perfect location if you are staying at any Wailea resort, and it's extremely convenient getting in and out the water. I recommend MUA to everyone of all experience levels and it is the only dive company I would ever think about using when visiting Maui!

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Blaze and Josh at Maui Undersea Adventures! My girlfriend and I got our open water diver certifications with Blaze and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! Josh was there to get us fitted and gave us great recommendations for our dive gear. Blaze was an excellent instructor. He was calm and very knowledgeable which made us very comfortable through our course. These guys are also comedy and we had some good laughs. Mahalo guys!🤙

They were awful. The conditions were not good for snorkeling and they didn’t tell ask although we DID ask! And they said no, it’s still ok. And they took us in the ocean for 20 minutes (out of 1.5 hrs) they guy just rushed under the ocean showed us a fish and one turtle- which the day before when we went to the ocean for swimming we saw more on our own- he took us back to the shore and said the wind is turning and they charges us in full!!! When we told them they said you should’ve booked in the morning! We are not experts in ocean conditions! First of all they shouldn’t have taken us to the ocean in that condition to begin with! Secondly, they should’ve told us and rebook the tour if we wanted to. Instead of cutting the time to one third and chargeing us in full! And the guy was so stressed because of the wind but he took us to the ocean anyways just to take the money! And when we were leaving the girl there came after us asking for tip!!!!!!!
It’s way better to book with a company that have boats and take you far away in the ocean and you’ll see much more!

My kids (ages 13 and 15) have never snorkeled before and the 13 year is not a strong swimmer. We are interested in the snorkel lessons for them but the scooter snorkel tour looks great for a less than strong swimmer. Is the scooter snorkel tour appropriate for a beginner who is not adventurous? Will that tour also include lessons for the 1st time snorkeler?

All our Semi-Private Tours are shore based at Wailea Point (House Reef), Makena Landing, or Keawakapu (St. Anthony's Shipwreck). DPV's are the transportation choice to cover as much reef per dive while conserving air for an extended bottom time within NDL's. Think underwater UBER...
We do offer Private Custom Tours to Molokini by either Private Charter or as a Private Group on an open charter, always better to have a private guide in Molokini to have a more intimate and customized dive experience. We also offer Mala Wharf in Lahaina and an advanced diver Kayak Wreck Dive.
