Do they accept American money for admission?
Positive
You can buy the tickets online ahead of time
You have to buy tickets online now. They accept credit cards, including Visa and MasterCard.
Our tickets were bought ahead of time, but considering it was for the light show "Aura", that was why we did it that way
They accept CAD and credit card payments. Not sure about USD!
Since I am a Canadian and used my Visa, I'm not sure. However, I expect they, like restaurants, shops and museums would accept it.
Sorry-Montreal
I suggest you go to a local atm in Montgomery and withdraw Canadian money.
They’ll always take US money!, but we went to an exchange place to the left of cathedral as you’re facing the cathedral (in a row of storefronts, it was only a few stores in, so close by). It’s easy to use Canadian money to ensure you get the best exchange rate.
Sorry I don’t know. I imagine they might. But I know we went to the exchange bureau several times to get more Canadian dollars. The cathedral is magnificent, especially that light show, Aura, if they are still running it. Enjoy!
Except paying in a Canadian vs. a Dollar crossing the Niagra bridge, you are almost always better to go to an ATM as soon as you reach a country and pulling local currency even if you will only be there a day.
Lots of opportunities can be missed without a small amount of money.

Yes they accept US$
Not sure as we paid in Canadian dollars. I expect that it may be possible but it would be much easier with the local currency
