Room was part of block not bungalow as pictured. Room small and difficult to move around bed. Not king but twins beds together. No hot water on first morning so had to move room. Dinner choice was curry & rice or noodles.Booked 3 nights and stayed for 2. Not value for money
We stayed here for one night visiting the temple. Booked two of their double rooms and a chalet. The accommodation has well appointed rooms furnished to a high standard with comfy beds, chairs ,minibar and a wardrobe. Chalet is quite spacious with an extra bed for a third person and a large bathroom. also its got a larger living area with a sofa. The quality and standards are well above the price they charge so great value for money. Its a small property with only four rooms and two chalets , so even when full house one can have his own space, peace and privacy. Located about two kilometers away from the chaotic town,in a small garden, its ideal to relax and recharge before may be a safari or exploring the surroundings. We only had a Sri Lankan breakfast here and it was delicious. Staff are helpful , welcoming and cheerful, not to mention their skill at making delicious food! Coming to the negatives ,,this property is bit let down by the amenities and infrastructure. Its located off a pot hole filled road, no back up generator so if power goes, which happened when we were there, no lights, no air conditioning , and no water!! Also the air con units need servicing or replacement as they struggle to get the room temperatures down in this extremely hot region. Apart from those ,this is a wonderful property with very nice rooms , great food and a nice location. Unbelievably value for money.…
Accommodation is quite nice , fairly Clean with most of the amenities. There is a room of improvement in maintaining apparatus in the room like water geyser etc., bathroom utilities can be improved. Otherwise all is very fine . The management should accept payment thru credit and debit cards from the guests.
The hotel is situated at the very edge of Yala National park (on the border) hence we had some nice visitors early in the morning roaming just outside the window (a porcupine, a couple of peacocks etc)... The staff were very friendly and supportive and helped us with the requests we made.. Rooms were cozy and comfy..
Spent two nights here and we got the Cabana room. It was very nice and great looking cabana with all required facilities including MiniBar, Hot Water, AC. Meals were also ok. But we had an issue with the Air conditioner which started spilling water right in to the bed. It was quite irritating and destroyed our sleep. We have informed it the the hotel management and they promised to fix the issue. However, it was not fixed during the second day also. Bit disappointing about not attending to such a major query. But all other facilities were very good. Staff is kind and supportive. Bordered to Yala Katagamuwa area. Quite nice place to stay.
