That was for me the 2nd time I stayed at Eric's place and I love this little town and Eric's place! Sanyi is not on the normal tourist route, the most stopping just for a short moment on their way, but Sanyi is a perfect place to spend a while...explore the city, the sights in the closer area (Shengxing station, Yutengping Broken Bridge, Chateau in the air....just to name a few) or by bicycle / motorbike or train. I love to stay there and Eric's palce makes it my perfect base to go around. It's close to the train station, a few supermarkets close by and some great Hakka restaurants. The rooms are equipped with all you need. I love the view on the river just right behind the house, alot of fishes in there and you can even spot kingfishers hunting. Eric is super friendly and helps you to make your stay really great! Cannot wait to come back again!…

I had a 2-night stay at Gandan B & B in Sanyi Township, Miaoli, Taiwan. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay (Apr-May). The B & B, walking distance from Fengfu Train Station, is single-handedly runs by Eric, a capable young man with a seven-year old son. My room faces a small stream. The B & B has 4 rooms at level 2 and 3. Level 1 has a cosy and neat dining area and kitchen overseeing the small stream. Simple and delicious sandwich breakfast was served by Eric. Eric, during my stay, drove me out to nice shop eateries along the main road for Hakka noodles and dumplings. He also drove, in the evening, to the mountains where I have a great experience in the dark - my first and ever sight of fireflies in Taiwan. The stay at this B & B was nice and amazing during my short Tung Blossoms Festival trip in Sanyi.…

Staying at Gandan was a really really good experience for me and my family, especially for my 2 kids. Eric is a very good, hospitable, and thoughtful host. Before our trip, he provided useful information for our consideration, not just at Miaoli but for our entire Taiwan schedule. Due to our travel beyond Miaoli falls on a weekend, there were no more online train tickets (High Speed Rail was out as it was too expensive). We informed Eric and he immediately suggested coach and helped us to book when we encountered online issues during booking. During arrival at Taoyuan Airport, Cathay Pacific forgot about our baby stroller and it was still at HK transit. Eric brought us to Taipei Children Amusement Park as planned and we had to trouble him to make a second trip to the airport just to collect the baby stroller. The room we stayed (including toilet) is really clean, comfortable and very spacious for a family of four. He drove us around at a very reasonable price for 3 days. Several occasions my boy became cranky and all thanks to Eric who is so capable of pacifying kids! Overall, our experience at Gandan is a pleasant and memorable one. Highly recommend Gandan to all, especially small family with kids who wants to visit Sanyi.…

房間乾淨舒適睡的好，離火車站、便利商店超近 窗外有小溪附近有菜園可以請主人幫忙準備烤pizza 廁所乾淨採光好而且寬敞》》這個超級無敵重要，很多民宿都是廁所加裝蓮蓬頭而已⋯⋯空間很小，他們不只廁所寬敞，而且蓮蓬頭超級讚👍 主人大哥的早餐三明治好吃⋯⋯還有沙拉飲料 不知道去哪裡還可以和大哥討論給建議ㄛ
