I was looking for a high end Spa that I could treat my wife for an overnight stay and I did find the more then perfect place to do it over and Over again.
We arrived on Friday night and were received by the hostess and owner Katya as if we were long time friends who hadn't seen each other for a few months. Later on Frederic, husband and busness partner of Katya, joined us for a perfect evening of wine and conversation in front of the large fireplace listening to smooth, relaxing music in the background.
We stayed in the suite above the fireplace which is huge and cosy and which gave me a Zen and Feng Shui feeling.
We had our first treatment at 11:00 after a light healthy continental breakfast.
For starters I had a full body massage with warm Grape Seed Oil and Rosemary Macerate by Paul - a seasoned massage therapist - that got deep under the skin to relax the tense muscles. Later on I had Anti-stress foot & leg treatment given by Gisele. Great and soothing.
My wife started with the foot treatment, followed by Massage with nourishing and toning Chocolate Oil and topped-off her 3 course treatment with the Orange-chocolate Éclair Facial Care Treatment with Vanilla Shake. We didn't go into the outside spa but other guests did while the outside temperature was nice at -8C..... We promised ourselves to try it during our next stay in a couple of months.
We both relaxed for an hour in front of the fireplace in cosy leather armchairs before leaving around 16:30.
The perfect place for a getaway from daily life !
The site is beautiful and peaceful.
The manoir has only 2 guestrooms, but they are very spacious and luxurious and most of the services offered (spa treatments, massages etc.) can be given in the rooms.
The staff is very knowledgeable and warm.
Would we go back ? Is this a question? We will without a doubt !
