Our stay at the ibis Styles was short and sweet, with super friendly and helpful staff throughout our 2-night booking, we had a great time in Bournemouth! The hotel was clean and well-kept, in a perfect location - just under 5 minutes to walk to the Bournemouth Beach Zig-Zags. One thing to note is that parking is not included in the price, it costs £10 a day to park at the hotel. But it’s far better than finding a space elsewhere. Overall, the hotel is reasonable and great quality - we would definitely be happy to return to the ibis Styles again and recommend it to others.

Mid August we were already staying in Bournemouth and looking to extend our stay but struggling to find a hotel. We walked over to Ibis Styles having seen online that they had rooms available which was a suprise in Bournemouth given how busy it was. Nicky on reception and a colleague helped us with room choices and showed us a number of options, in the end we went for a challet in the car park. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet as not in the main hotel. The room and beds were really comfotable and the added little kitchen area with sink, fridge and storage was really useful. Storage in the room was a single rack construction with some hangers which really wasn't suitable for a family staying for a number of nights, we ended up using the kitchen cupboards to store some of our clothes. The bathroom and shower weren't ideal and if you are over 6 foot tall you are going to struggle with the shower as the ceiling height is low. Also there isn't anywhere in the room to dry swimming costumes, we asked if the towel rail could be switched on but this wasn't possible, we ended up drying swimmers outside in front of the Challet and as soon as we did this most other guests seemed to do the same showing that somewhere to dry items was needed. We enjoyed breakfast, the food was good quality with really tasty fresh croissants, sliced fruit alongside the cooked breakfast and cereal options. The staff in the dining room were freindly and polite and worked very hard to keep up with a busy breakfast service. We used the pool once but didn't feel like using it again as we felt that it needed to have a deep clean and the water changed (it was a little milky). The edges of the pool showed a tide line of dirt. The hotel had been newly refurbished and so was clean and fresh although it seems like the refurbishment wasn't extended to the exterior of the building nor the swimming pool which both needed tidying up to match the hotel interior. We were asked to pay a substantial security deposit (returned when we checked out) to cover any damage to the room which we were unhappy with, particularly considering there was already some damage to the room when we checked in (this was resolved by maintenance). If you are going to charge a security deposit you must check the rooms for damage first! Overall we would stay again, the rooms were good, breakfast tasty and staff friendly and helpful. Please just sort out the swimming pool and improve storage in the rooms.

A catalogue of problems initially but all sorted beautifully by the ever smiling and efficiant Nickie ( give the girl a raise). Girls in Dinning room were good too. Hotel is similar quality to a Premier Inn but brighter i.e Good. Position for Beach and town good. Breakfast Good. Beds and pillows very good. The inner corner rooms are dark. And I would go for the 2nd or 3rd priced rooms if you can. Storage very minimal.

We have been to this hotel before, but this is the first time since it has been the ibis Styles. The hotel is in a good location, not to far from the beach and the town square. It has a good size parking area, although you have to pay £10 per night, it seems quite secure. Our room was ready and the bed was very comfortable, the only drawback and I am sure it has been mentioned before, is the lack of storage for clothes, a chest of drawers would dramatically help. We stayed bed and breakfast, so I cannot comment on the evening meals, but the breakfast was very good. We feel that the really important part of our stay was the very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel, the staff do not wear name tags so we can only name Nicky on reception who was absolutely fabulous, but all the staff we encountered were the same from the young lady who welcomed at breakfast, to the cleaning staff. So well done to them for making our stay and we would not hesitate to go back there again.

Came to Ibis Styles from the 31.08.2021 to 05.09.2021 and was so sad to leave. We really enjoyed our stay. The decor was quirky and ice cream themed which initially attracted us to this hotel. There were many cool things to look at from ice cream lamps in the check in area to boho mirrors on the wall. We booked for the double room which was smaller than expected but that was due to confusion on our part whilst booking but the room was big enough for the two of us. We loved the cute bed and the ice cream theme walls. The room was cozy and I ended up enjoying it... Also the fold out on the was lovely because it felt like a personal cinema when the curtains where drawn (the curtains were completely blackout which was also cool). The staff were very lovely and accomodating. We were greeted with smiles and they always asked how our day was. The dining area where our breakfast was included (which i was very happy about) was decorated nicely and the breakfast buffet was the standard things you get... like baked beans, eggs etc which we liked. The only things that were minor inconviniences was that the fan in the bathroom was a bit loud in the early hours of the morning which woke us up a couple of times during our stay... but we were so tired from all the fun we were having on our holiday that it didnt affect our sleep. The parking was also not free which I expected because it said so when we booked. It cost £25 which is a fair price but the spaces were a bit tight especially if youre parked between 2 big cars but that's a personal issue really. Thank you Ibis Styles Bournemouth for your top notch service and making us feel welcome!!!!
