Security is very rude.
The person does not even get out of their car.
They just yell a mile away at you, and tell you to come to them.
The main security guard was intoxicated and acts like a crooked cop.
The host lady at the gate is very cold, and does not like to do anything besides take your money and say "no" to everything you ask.
The park is over run with old trailers that belong in the landfill.
There are no sewers, so people have little tanks in the ground, or just pull their pee pipes some times and.let it run on the ground.
The beach is ok, but bothy kids have been cut from rocks etc. broken glass I clean up whenever I see it from bottles.
Overall this is a 2 at best.
The only reason I stayed is because the campers are amazing.
But enough is enough.
Something must be done.
Thanks for reading this.
I came here to.relax, but now am more tense then ever.
Thanks Bayfort Security, you are upholding the Egoic nature of the Beast.
Hope you change for the peoples sake.

We rented a site for the 2021 season at Bayfort, and had the majority of our personal belongings stolen from our seasonal site while we were away with the trailer camping throughout Ontario. Other seasonal campers decied it was in their right to come into the site we paid for and steal our deck box, fire pit, kids pool, multiple camp chairs, costco pool noodles, 10 cinder blocks and 10 patio stones used for leveling our trailer. When reported to the manager Lorraine her response was "what a shame, if your neighbors saw this they should have reported it to me, some times people help themselves when they think sites been abandoned". Our site only looked abandoned after the campers pillaged all of our belongings. As well the other campers do not follow the camp rules, we nightly had people cut between our site and our neighbors, to get to sites on the next road over. This would occur all throughout the night while our family was sleeping. The campers easily could have used the road way 2 sites down. This made it difficult to leave the windows of our trailer open to get fresh night air in, as the noise and smell of cigarette/marijuana smoke would come through our windows as these people were walking directly beside our bedroom windows. The quite hours in this campground are definitely not enforced, and we routinely had other people parked in our site when we'd arrive and would have to track down who's vehicle it was so we could get into our spot, which is not overly convenient with 2 young children excited to be out at the trailer. The water is beautiful, the beach was small, and over all we are very disappointed with this campground and the theirvery that occurs according to other seasonal renters on a regular basis. We will not be returning for a second season.

Il y a un paquet de voiture et de bateau sur le terrain de camping, mais, il n’accepte pas que je stationne ma moto prêt de ma tente roulotte j’ai trouvé ça très insultant.
Je paie le même prix que les autres campeurs.

I camped here in a tent for two nights. The site is mostly RVs, but there are a couple dozen tent sites. The camp site was clean and I was pleased that quiet hours began and were actually obeyed/enforced at 11:00pm.
There's a small beach on the Bay, that looks out on some great sunsets. And there are a few playgrounds scattered around the site. I can only speak to the men's showers: there are two stalls in the one bathroom, and the *hot* water costs a quarter for a few minutes.
For a $20 deposit, they give you a gate-access card so you can drive in. One peculiarity to note is that you can only enter once every half hour. Otherwise you need to ask Lorraine (the manager) to let you in.
The on-site restaurant has free wifi that's accessible from the picnic tables outside. The range is limited, but it's available 24/7.
When I was there, it had just rained in the region quite a bit, so my camp site was a bit muddy and rife with mosquitoes. The best thing I did was bring repellent! Smoke also drives away mosquitoes, and they charge $10 for a wheelbarrow full of fire wood.
A back gate (not a regular entrance) to the Martyrs' Shrine is also on Ogden's Beach Road, but it's up a *big* hill.
