Went for one night to this hotel.
Rooms are clean and spacious.
Nice bathroom with shower.
Friendly staff and owner.
There is a possibility that they book a cab to leeds airport for you so this is perfect.

Had a couple of weekend stays at The Mill in Baildon. We stayed in a large room with a four -poster bed, which was very comfortable. The en-suite was modern, clean and the shower was one of the best I have had.
The room was clean and tidy with all the modern conveniences you would expect. The owner gave us lots of information about the surrounding area which was very helpful. Overall our stay was very pleasant if I drop by that area again I will certainly use the The Mill.

If you like to sleep during the night I do not recommend that you stay here. We stayed here on a Saturday night. The rooms are directly above the bar (with stairs straight up to the rooms) and this particular night a live band was playing til after midnight and then a loud club style DJ music played until 2am, accompanied by lots of shouting and general noise from the bar. It was all so loud it literally felt as if we were sleeping in the middle of the bar.
This particular night was their “first birthday party” and so may have been louder and later than normal however as the bar’s clientele seemed to be mainly young people and The Mill appears to be marketing itself towards this sort of young, party-style venue, the music and general noise must be loud most nights, and presumably continues on until late at weekends.
The other problem with trying to sleep was a bright green light in the middle of the ceiling. It was presumably some sort of fire alarm, however this didn’t give off the “normal” small dot of smoke alarm light, this big boy lights up the whole room, so much so that you literally felt that you had got a light turned on in the room all night. Unless you like sleeping with a light on you would need an eye mask to be able to sleep in there.
Whilst on the negatives the other thing they need to do is to start to iron the bed linen. Our sheets and duvet cover were completely creased up. I guess they were tumble-dried in bulk and left in the dryer for a long time as the creases were so ingrained. At any hotel I would expect the sheets and duvet cover to be ironed or light creases that might happen if taken out of a dryer straight away would be acceptable.
On the positives: the room was beautifully decorated; the bathroom was all new and had a lovely shower. The bed itself was very large and very comfortable. If it hadn’t been for the noise and the light I would have been happy to have stayed there.
I paid £90 for our room (no breakfast) I think that this was too expensive for the fact that this room was above such a loud bar and that it did not include any breakfast. I have stayed many times in the IBIS in Shipley which is much cheaper and where I have never had any problems at all.
I messaged the owners twice to tell them that I wasn’t happy with our stay (as we had to leave early, before they were around) but they haven’t even bothered to reply.
