Hotel room is very clean and staff are helpful. location are good as it's just in the middle of Beijing Pedestrian Road, within 5 mins walk from metro. Shopping and eating are right under the hotel. Value for money and it's also convenient especially for those first time Traveller to Guangzhou

I just had a wonderful long weekend in GZ with my friends and we have to thank Doris, the sales manager of the hotel for all she has done for us, from room booking, recommendation for local tourist attractions and restaurants to arrangement for chartered car and tour guide. Besides the great services, the hotel is super clean and cozy and located in the heart of everything. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel lobby is filled with stored luggage everywhere, giving a sense of chaos and congestion, making you absolutely not want to stay or rest there. The front desk is just as chaotic as the lobby. The check-in time is 4 PM; we arrived at 4:30, and the front desk took a long time to check us in. They finally told us that our room would be ready in half an hour. Although they offered us another vacant room to rest in, after a whole day's journey, you just want to return to your own room and relax. Just as we were preparing to wait in the vacant room, the front desk informed us that our room was ready. The management is really messy.
The front desk handed us the keys as if we had been there many times and were familiar with the place, but in fact, we had never been there before. Fortunately, the elevators weren't hard to find. The elevators are shared with the restaurant and other hotels in the building. Although there is a security system, you'll be competing with many other people for the elevators, and the elevator ride is often shaky and jerky.
The room was spacious, but the walls and sofa were damaged, and the toilet seat felt very worn out, making the room look like it had been in operation for over a decade. Additionally, there was an unpleasant fragrance in the room, but fortunately, we could open the window to get rid of the smell. Possibly due to recent cleaning, the bathroom floor was still wet

We are staying in the super convenient Mercure Guangzhao, Beijing Road, the third week of Jan 2025. We are used to having bananas in the morning for breakfast, but after trying to look for it near the hotel, we couldn't find one. However, we have called the hotel friendly receptionist, and he has offered to provide a few bananas for us complementary. Also, one of the receptionist also helped me to print out some important documents as requested. The whole hotel receptionist team are well trained, friendly and go all their way to make the customer happy! Great experience and we will definitely stay in this lovely hotel again should we decide to visit Guangzhao China in the near future.

Lovely hotel in the heart of beijing rd, hotel is located beside a busy traffic junction, its a good place to people watching, less than 5mins walk to nearby eateries, subway is just located at the next bldg (mall) there Macdonald & chagee. Room is cosy warm with lots of Usb slots for all yr electric needs, bed was firm & comfortable i slept very well but the pillow was too soft i had to request for firmer pillow for housekeeping, mini bar will replenish daily a can of coke, soda water & mineral water free of charge. Hotel wifi was a slow but don't effect me as i hve my roaming/vpn. Breakfast was located at 29th floor, excellent choices, had both chinese & western food daily but do go early as there limited seating area. There a Laundry room for all guest to used free of charge located on the 30th flr, customer service was excellent as most request can be informed & communicated via wechat to the staff. I would stay here again if i go back guangzhou.
