We booked our room through Home 2 Suites by Hilton which is connected to the Hampton Inn. The entire facility is brand spanking new!!!! Ashley at the front desk was fabulous during check in. The pool fitness and main lounge areas are beautiful!!! Outdoor seating with fire pit and TVs. Excellent location to see the Cape Canaveral Port. Shopping and good restaurants nearby. Just down A1A from busy Cocoa Beach area. 8 miles from Kennedy Space Center. The Hampton side is pet friendly too.
What a wonderful surprise! Exceptionally clean (and my standards are high), tastefully decorated, brand new hotel within easy distance of the Kennedy Space Centre. Lovely breakfast, nice pool. I wish all hotels could be this good!
This hotel was clean and well run. No COVID concerns noted at all. The employees were very kind and helpful. A/c and heat functioning perfect. Shower was nice with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very limited as seems to be the case at most hotels due to Corona virus concerns but still acceptable for getting by. It did not look like the bar, pool and/or fire pit were being used or open. But, not a problem for our purpose of staying there. Parking was $6 per day.
I am writing my first review since Covid played a role in my stay. The policy has been now for months that HAMPTON INN, Hilton Hotels, etc. under the umbrella of brands will seal the rooms after cleaning them and disinfecting them and making them ready for the next guest. We are relying on this to ensure our safety during COVID because like in my case I get it , I DIE! No question about it. So after a long drive , tired, and ready to settle down with my son I had two issues. First is I thought it was a suite room which means a separate room. IT was a "studio suite" and handicapped at that. Since they did not have a 2 room suite, the front end clerk allowed me to book the adjoining room for my son. I was sure I heard her say she would only charge me half rate because all the room was for the bed for my son. The rate was actually , ready for this, HIGHER then my other room. NOT JOKING. My son's room was more money, why in the world would they at least not charge the same exact rate I just booked with my AARP discount. That's the first shot at me. The second was the DIRECT lying that they did to me about the "sealing" of the room. They actually said that it was a new process and was working on it. First, they had some rooms with sticker sealed. Neither room was sealed, secondly the remotes were not the same. One was sealed clean, the other was not. It's extremely hard to take 2 rooms that are CONNECTED and not clean them or ensure they are COVID FREE. That sticker is not for just telling you the housekeeper was there. IT's to help ensure you that your LIFE is valuable and you should not get the virus. I am so disgusted that they looked me in the face and made excuses for the reasons they were not done correctly. If my rooms was not done, how many more? Is it hit or miss now? I am so upset after thinking they were helping me for my son's needs, but actually making more money and then putting my health and safety at RISK. Today there is new reporting, reasons, and cautions that we all take now. That means even the reviews now have more info about different ways they are fighting the front lines so we can do work outside the home, and seeing the family, friends and customers in a new way. I finally got so upset to even see they took no action to resolve my concerns, I was not ok to move and backed in a corner because all but 2 rooms on my floor were not tagged and they admitted they were still empty or not checked in yet. TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY. If the room is not sealed like they are ALL DOING now, do NOT use it. Ask for a change, don't wonder all night and day if you could get sick for just sleeping in a room where someone had been in there and had it. There is now a "life or death" factor in this. Tell everyone you know who travels, DO NOT USE UNSEALED ROOMS. Just think now, this is not a joke. People catch it, they die. Facts. How much is your life worth over simple sticker not on the door. It's EVERYTHING now. With the seriousness of this now, I was expecting them to at least do some discount for my concerns or worries on the rate. Then to not do anything and even make excuses that they had just started the practice and even saying hey didnt have enough stickers. This is a MUST ITEM to release a room from now on until we get out of this. This is not a smiley sticker or a welcome sticker. This is a life or death your safety sticker. Take it very much to heart. No sticker, No Room. WE already have to trust they did make the room clean as it says it should be. How much can it go. I honestly feel I should have not even paid for the rooms with no where to go. No Sticker No Stay..…
Tout neuf et super propre. Un grand hôtel Hampton Inn. Près du port de croisière et de bons restaurants. Grand lobby et piscine. Ai-je déjà mentionné propre. La chambre était grande et la climatisation était froide. La douche et la serviette sont fraîches.
