1) Location - we are avid hikers and the location of this Inn is ideal for quick access to many great White Mountain hikes. It would also be ideal for skiers. 2) Pet friendly - several rooms are pet friendly and they have very nice grounds for walking your pet including a small trail that goes down to the Saco River for swimming! 3) Lodging options - the way they renovated this older motel is amazing! There are so many room options depending on your situation (groups, kids, pets etc). We chose an apartment and it suited our needs perfectly. 4) Clean & comfortable - they did an amazing job with renovations in 2022 and it shows! Our room was nicely furnished, extremely clean and very comfortable. We had a full kitchen - complete with the necessary cooking items - that allowed us to make our meals while staying there. 5) Attention to Details - the owners of this property have really thought this through. We are frequent travelers and we really appreciate details like easy charging for electronics next to the bed, hooks and shelving in the bathroom, throws on bed and couch for comfort, ease of checkin with electronic room key, etc.
Highly recommend this little gem. We will definitely be back!!

When we arrived we were so pleasantly surprised! The inn was so cute, and you can tell that the new owners have really put their heart and soul into renovating the rooms and beautiful, welcoming Lounge area. Our room was very clean and had a modern rustic charm. We love the location as well- right on the Saco and close to all the action in the area! There were a few areas, however, that were very much overlooked when the renovations took place- and they made a major difference in the quality of our stay. First, we booked a “large room” that is described as being spacious for a family of four. The beds are double beds, and they are VERY small for four people (and our girls are only 6&8). The beds were also very uncomfortable/lopsided, with the cheapest bedding and pillows you can buy. The air conditioning unit was a cheap one- very loud and although we had it on 68, we were sweating all night/ tossing and turning. It really stinks to come back at the end of fun filled, long days knowing the night of sleep is going to be awful. My husband and I both looked forward to leaving just so we could go home to get a good night sleep. Finally, the toilet situation- it barely flushed leading to issues. To me, the corners that were cut in the renovations were the wrong corners to cut. They should have invested in comfortable queen sized beds and hotel quality pillows, better AC units and plumbing improvements. I WANT to love this place because it’s really really cute, but we can’t say we would come back because we won’t forget our sleepless nights here. 😟

My wife and I spend our anniversary at this hidden gem of bartlett. The inn was perfect for our getaway. the rooms were amazingly designed, modern and clean. Our room was a single style cabin with mobile key access. Very spacious with a view and more than enough room for two. We had a coffee maker, mini fridge, closet, dining table and a smart tv. We loved how it felt like we were at home. Exceptional customer service with great recommendations of the local area. We were away from the congestion of the town but still everything we wanted to do was in walking distance and there was a lot to do. Already planning our next stay for years to come.

This is a small motel located conveniently between the Attitash ski area (a few minutes away) and the Wildcat ski area, about 20 minutes away. I don't believe there is a front office, communication is all by phone, email and SMS which worked very well (we did meet the owners, a nice young couple at check-in but that was not strictly necessary). Each room has a marked parking spot and access to the room is by an app that you load on your phone. This worked flawlessly. The app also gives you access to the common lounge with free coffee, tea and ice.
Our room (#6) had the feeling of a cabin, all wood-clad, it even had a faint smell of wood. This fits with the overall outside design, and I believe the other rooms are similar. We had requested a roll-away bed in addition to the Queen and it was delivered shortly after we arrived (we were allowed to check in before the official check-in time which was very convenient). Microwave, fridge and a small coffee maker were in the room. Good wifi. Everything was very clean, and the beds, pillows and duvets were very comfortable. There is pool but of course this was not much of interest to us, in December.
Overall, we had an excellent time. I highly recommend this motel and will stay here again.
