This is our 6-7th time staying in a Circle 4 ranch cabin, this time it was #2. Needs some makeovers everywhere. Desperately needs new carpet, furniture and appliances! They are all original from 1977! This is a definite cabin, rustic at best. Prices to rent have gone up, but interiors are not keeping up with cost. Cute site with own pool, but needs updating!!
This was our 4th visit over the past 7 years, staying at Ranch Cabin #38, and it will be the last. The price has gone up substantially, while the accommodations have gone downhill. The beds are uncomfortable, the window blinds in the bedrooms are bent and difficult to operate and their was even a used towel left hanging behind the door in the upstairs bathroom! This particular cabin is under new rental management, and even though you have no human contact with anyone to pick up or return a key, there was an added, $110.00 booking fee, which seemed a bit steep, since everything was online! Upon arrival, there was no laundry soap, minimal bath Towels for 8 people, and the silverware in the drawer had dried food particles on them! Ewe! The wood on the furniture is in dire need of a good refinish or deep cleaning, and the carpet in the master bathroom needs to be replaced with tile or linoleum. When the barbecue was lit to preheat, it caught on fire, as there was an excessive amount of some kind of residue that hadn't been cleaned in a very long time! After further research, we discovered that the rates for this particular cabin are increasing by an average rate of $100.00 per night, for the same time period next year. I would have no problem with that, if the renovations kept up with the rates! It also advertised a shared hottub in the brochure, but there is no hottub on site. The shared hottub is a couple miles away at the SHARC; not exactly convenient for cool evening visits on the deck. …
These cabins are basically identical. The main differences are the management companies and if a particular unis has been upgraded. Others should be upgrade, but the owners seem to rent them anyway. Could be a four rated place. The prices per week are about the same regardless. The homes are all individually owned and on rental programs. We have been renting some of these with our adult children and grandchildren for over 12 years. Thes are extremely family- friendly. Most can be viewed on VRBO Sunriver, Oregon. Perhaps the best 'bang for your buck" company is Sunriver Lodge Resort. Too many positives to comment on in the Resort itself. Look it up under Sunriver Resort or VRBO. Great summer and winter.
I enjoyed the quaint cabin! An older ranch cabin that retains the original qualities of Sunriver and the rustic cabin feel. A great place to sneak away for a romantic couples weekend and see the sights! Relax and enjoy!
We stayed in cabin #30 in September. The cabin was cute but a bit dirty and smelled of burnt wood from the fireplace. There are three bedrooms, one with two twin beds. Oddly, the best and largest TV is in the upstairs master bedroom. The TV in the living room is fairly small and the TVs in the other two rooms are ancient and tiny. Also, the rental book talks about Apple TV which we never did find. The kitchen is amply supplied except wine glasses are severely lacking. You can easily buy a cheap set of decent, matching wine glasses. The hot tub is in good condition but the jets are very weak. Also very disappointing that the cabin was advertised with a BBQ but the BBQ wouldn't start we assume because the propane tank was empty. We finally found another propane tank in the garage but felt it should have been ready to go for us. Finally, while most rentals supply bikes, these bikes were in need of maintenance. The tires were bald, the handlebars shifted on us (we took to bike shop to tighten) and the seats wiggled. While the cabin overall was okay, we would not stay here again.…
