Having stayed at Hillslee several times in the last few years we cannot fault it al all.The proprietor has been always so helpul and friendly when our car broke down in March this year he even tried to get the car mended while we were on holiday so it would be sorted for when we got back.
The rooms are very clean and they all have en suites. The choice of breakfast is excellent and they go out of their way to make sure you have plenty to eat and drink.
we feel that we are treated like friends instead of guests..
,We stayed again in June and when we came back from the airport we were even taken to the local inn for a meal to save us driving after our holiday.
Hillslee offer an excellent service for people going to bristol airport transporting them and picking them up after their holiday it takes a lot of pressure off you.
Hopefully we will be staying again soon.

The owner had the television on so loud I could not sleep (I was the only guest). At midnight I went down and ask him to turn it down. But, by then I was so annoyed I could not sleep anyway. I had to be up at 6am for flights to USA. I am vegetarian and when I booked in August 2009 I was told breakfast was not a problem. What I got was half a burnt tomato, sloshy unedible scrambled egg and a rock hard dried out vegetarian sausage !!! I could not eat the breakfast. The owner made no comment when he cleared the table..I had booked him to take me to the Airport otherwise I would have refused to pay. I am a single woman who travels a lot and this is without a doubt one of the worst places I have ever stayed for inconsideration to the guest. Don't stay here !!!

Is a very pleasant B&B on the A38 and near the M5, which we have found ideal for Bristol Airport, local touring and the nearby Avon Dry ski slope. The rooms are all en-suite, attractive good size doubles and very clean. Free WIFI. The breakfast is excellent with a choice of English or Continental and they do a packed breakfast for early flights. Holiday parking and free 24hr airport transfers if needed. We have stayed several times now as it is so convenient and Mr & Mrs Mcgregor have always been very helpful and obliging. There are also several good pubs and restaurants in the locality for an evening meal.
