The farm land surrounding The HopBarn is currently in the Higher level Stewardship Scheme which is a scheme that enables farmers to undertake environmental land management. As such, the land is managed to encourage more wildlife and to promote flora and fauna. Wide open fields and wooded walks alongside Carr Dyke provide a tranquil setting as well as providing a natural habitat for over 30 different species of birds and other wild animals. As the land is also private, guests can enjoy and experience the pleasure of exploring the land without being infringed by the general public. It's a totally unique experience.
