Perfect peaceful Andalucian paradise
We first visited Kayenne apartments as a family of four in 2015. We loved it so much that it is now our annual family holiday retreat. We call it our 'home from home'. We have even introduced friends to Kayenne, who also now return for their holiday. The owners, Kath and Kev, are absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. The apartments are always spotlessly clean and have everything you need or can be arranged for your stay. The pool is just perfect to cool off from the hot sun. Kayenne is located not too far from the beautiful town of Iznajar which has a fabulous lake with beach and water sports. There are local restaurants and tapas bars to visit but we often find ourselves enjoying 'cooking on the coals' and relaxing around Kayenne to make the most of the beautiful views. There are so many fantastic places to visit not too far from Fuente Del Conde, so Kayenne is the perfect place to stay. Thank you for another great holiday Kath and Kev. We made more wonderful memories. See you again soon. The Hedges.

Perfect just perfect
This lovely accommodation, situated in this charming village, very close to Iznajar, is the perfect location for relaxing or going out and about. We travelled to Cordoba, ( a must see if in the area) , Granada, ( pre book the Alhambra to avoid disappointment), Iznajar and the huge dam on the reservoir nearby. The rest of the time we just relaxed in the beautiful garden area, or played in the pool. This self catering home from home offers everything you could wish for. We booked for 6 nights but stayed on for an extra 2 nights, as we enjoyed it so much. ( big supermarkets a 20 minute plus drive away for all your needs;) this was the final week of our 4 week honeymoon, made even better after lockdown with the glorious weather, and lovely accommodation. Kath and Kevin are perfect hosts.

A wonderful place to relax
We stayed here for just three days to relax and enjoy the outskirts of Iznajar. The property has 3 room options to stay. There's a communal pool, not heated but beautifully maintained, attractive and draws you in. In fact the whole property is well maintained and is lovingly looked after my its owners. There are multiple communal areas including a BBQ and places to sit relax eat and drink. We were there on our own so had the place to our self. For a family or group of friends where three rooms a needed it can be a wonderful place to share or for that matter meet other people. We took the two bedroom apartment. It was spotless, well equipped and easy to self cater. We had access to a very large private balcony we we enjoyed private lunches and drinks soaking up the sun, There's wonderful 4k walk that circumnavigates the town and past one of the smallest churches I've ever seen with just stunning views of the olive fields. There's also a small bar where you can enjoy a beer or wine and have complimentary tapas. The owners have a knack of being around when needed and out of site when you want time to yourselves.

Wspaniałe miejsce do wypoczynku i relaksu
Idealne miejsce do wypoczynku na Andaluzyjskiej wsi pośród gór porośniętych drzewami oliwnymi. Doskonały dojazd , dom czysty, dobrze wyposażony, basen optymalny, cisza i spokój …. rano budzi pianie kogutów :-) Dogodny i szybki dojazd do Grenady, Kordoby, Sevilli, Gibraltaru i innych atrakcji. Miejsce godne polecenia dla chcących odpocząć a zarazem zwiedzać Andaluzję. Blisko do malowniczego jeziora... Miła i pomocna właścicielka..

Superb apartment surrounded by gorgeous outsde area.
This apartment is everything you could wish for. It is well equipped clean with ample towels and bed linen. If you did not move from the property you would be more than pleased at the large pool and immaculate gardens including a number of seating areas so you can organise either sun or shade as required. It certainly should win some gardening awards and has some gorgeous plants and shrubs. Kath and Kev are just wonderful hosts with their easy going attitude but nevertheless maintaining the properties and grounds in pristine condition. As if these conditions are not enough to have a great holiday the properties are situated in a small hamlet with a bar/restaurant about 50 meters away with superb food and drink. Kath is also qualified at massage therapy and has a small studio on the property. There is ample free parking and free wifi. In the evening the stunning sunsets are wonderful to behold. This was one of our best holidays ever!

Good base for getting around Cordoba and Andalucia
2 bedroom apartment. Bedroom sizes were average, living space was compact for the 2 of us. If you have kids they would spend all there time outdoors anyway and there is a lot of outdoor space and separate terraces. If you prefer you're privacy there is a new apartment which has a large private terrace with a view. The owners were also installing a large fridge freezer to the 2 bed apartment as we were leaving. They have 2 very cute little dogs an older one and a younger one plus a cat but she keeps to herself. The owners have a washing machine on their patio for use and they live on the property so if you have any problems at all then it gets dealt with quickly. The pub does excellent food, we never had a bad meal there! And the shop was handy.

The perfect base for exploring Andalucia.
This apartment is a fantastic base for making day trips, the outdoor facilities are excellent and the hosts are friendly, informative and on call if needed. The apartment is cosy, clean and has everything you need. The only reason it doesn't score a 5 is because it's not a full on "Luxury" (lots of extras and fancy bits) type apartment but that wasn't what we were looking for so we were very happy and had a great time. Many thanks to Kath & Kevin for their hospitality.

A fantastic location for a relaxing family break with friendly hosts.
Located around 1 hour from Malaga, Fuente del Conde is situated in some beautiful hills, not too far from the hill-top town of Iznajar. Kayenne sits in the village itself and is within 2 mins walking distance of the small local shop and the pub/restaurant. Larger supermarkets are located about 30 mins away at Loja. The property has a fantastic pool and garden, with lots of areas for sun and shade. There is plenty of space for eating outside and there is access to a bbq. Our kids (3 & 6 years) loved the pool and due to the climate and warm pool temperature, were splashing around all all hours of the day/evening. There was an abundance of inflatables and toys which also kept them amused. We were able to access the property WiFi in the pool/garden area. The apartment itself was clean and tidy with ample space and provided for our needs. The kids were more than happy in the twin room, which was great for them and cool most of the time which meant they slept very well. There is a AC unit in the main bedroom too. In terms of location, the more quiet and rural setting suited us, as we were able to mix up time relaxing by the pool with days away visiting places and exploring. Fuente Del Conde is close enough to coast, but also not too far from other attractions in the area which are worth a visit (Ronda, Granada, Malaga etc.). We would also really recommend a day trips to the lake at Emblace de Los Bermejales and a walk up the Rio Chillar near Nerja. The close town of Inzajar is well worth visiting too. Kath and Kevin are fantastic hosts and as the complex is part of their home, you really feel a connection to the property and the village. They are both really friendly and happy to help with any question or request. We felt very welcomed and relaxed for the entire holiday.
