Nous avons séjourné à Iznajar les 2 premières semaines de juin ; temps superbe, chaleur agréable, et surtout un environnement exceptionnel. La maison est idéalement située, au calme, face au village, et offre une magnifique vue sur les alentours. Accueil fort sympathique de Domingo, nous avons regretté ne pouvoir communiquer avec lui car ne parlant pas l'espagnol. Maison très propre, literie ferme et très confortable, chambres spacieuses. La petite taille de la cuisine est compensée par l'espace plancha/barbecue à l'extérieur, et nous avons vécu toutes nos vacances sur la grande terrasse. De nombreux points d'intérêt se trouvent à proximité, Grenade, Cordoba sont à peine plus loin (un peu plus d'une heure de route). Et pour les courses, le Mercadona de Rute est parfait !

Beautiful Villa with a Beautiful View
We have rented this villa three years on the trot because it is such a great place to stay. With four double bedrooms and two bathrooms it easily accommodates our family of 7 spanning three generations. It is well equipped (with good air-con) and spotlessly clean, but the real attractions are its location and its outside space. Iznajar is a great place to stay - far enough away from the coast to escape the crowds, but Malaga is only an hour's drive down empty roads; as are Cordoba, Granada, Ronda, and the lakes near El Chorro. However, it is tempting to stock up with provisions at the Mercadona supermarket in nearby Rute and then just while away the hours sat on one of the villa's two terraces, one with pool and one with a huge table and excellent BBQ,admiring the view of the town, which is particularly lovely on weekend nights when all the town is lit up. The other big plus is its owner, Domingo, who although he speaks no English doesn't let this get in the way of always being extremely helpful. Over the past three years he has brought us a kettle, arrived promptly when there was a problem with the water supply, and most recently replaced the washing machine with his own because a new one would take a couple of days to arrive. His son, too, helped us out by ordering something from Amazon for us via his account and then delivering it to the villa. Half of me wants to let everyone know how good this place is, and half of me wants to keep quiet so we can have it to ourselves!

Lovely villa with a great view
We used the villa as a base for exploring Andalucía with two friends from Australia. Granada Córdoba and the coast are all about an hours drive. Iznájar itself is a very pleasant and interesting small white town. Well worth a walk up.
The villa is set on the hillside opposite the town with great views. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The bedrooms are spacious and attractive. Kitchen is compact but well equipped. The lounge area is nice but we didn't use it as the weather was too good to be inside. Plenty of outside space and furniture as well as an outside kitchen with fridge, plancha and BBQ. Lovely pool as well. Plenty of parking. All very secure.
The internet isn't super fast but more then acceptable for somewhere in the campo.
Domingo was very pleasant and helpful. Easy to check in and check out.

Fantastic villa, views, facilities, everything you need for a relaxing holiday
We stayed at Casa Juani's for a week in June, and we arrived nervously not knowing what to expect. But it is exactly like the pictures, fantastic. You never get bored of the view, it is simply stunning.
It has everything you need, especially important when travelling with a one year old, it is very child friendly, very little to break and make mischief with. Although don't take crayons because the white walls are very inviting!
It is perfect for a relaxing getaway in the middle of nowhere, not easy to get into the town without a car, but the local town has plenty of amenities, shops, and a local english speaking bar. But our best find was the petrol station at the bottom of the hill, it was fantastic, it stocked everything!!!! There is a great Mercadona in the next town along (Rute) which we wish we'd found on day one. So go there, stock up and just enjoy the outdoor cooking at the villa.

Wine, Olives and a fabulous view - A perfect recipe!
We stayed in this beautiful location for one week. Domingo ( the owner) was easy to book through, met us when and where we had agreed and showed us all we needed to know about the house even though we had very little Spanish. There was a bottle of wine and olives for our arrival which was lovely. The house overlooks Iznajar and the lake and the views were amazing and wonderful to come home to each evening. Iznajar is a lovely town on the lake and a great location for traveling further afield such as Cordoba, Granada and Malaga all within 2 hrs of driving. ( you do need a car) The benefit is the house isn't far from accessing the main roads to get these places. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. It has 4 good sized bedrooms (though the beds are firm) and good bathrooms.The kitchen was well equipped. There was good WI-FI and television. We had our 6 yr old son and it was perfect for him because he had a fenced in area to run around, swings, ping pong table and pool. He loved it! It was quiet and the views at night were beautiful as we sipped wine on the outside terrace. We had a wonderful weeks stay and certainly recommend this property to anyone looking in the Iznajar area to stay.
