Spent Christmas at the property and got in just before 6 feet of snow accumulation. House was wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfy, and plenty of room to spread out. Pros close to base on California side and walking distance to liquor store. Cons, with the massive snow fall we were last on the plow list because at the edge of city and up a hill. One day first plow came through at 3 pm, with over two feet of overnight snow. Not a knock on the property as owner did everything he could to keep access to property thru private driveway service. Mother Nature was the obstacle. Hot tub was great other than shoveling 5ft of snow off to get lid off. It was kept warm at 90deg F and quickly warmed up more when we got in.

Great experience! We will try to rent again next year!

Always a very relaxing stay!!!

This house was perfect for our family. Very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. We hiked the trails behind the house and met some nice neighbors who told us all about the area. We did see a couple of black bears! We were pleased to learn they don’t want to eat people- just looking for food. The owner was super responsive when we did have a question about the AC- there is no central air. The temps were at record highs while we were there, so AC is not usually needed. It was pretty hot in the house for a few days. Pope beach was a gorgeous place to stay cool. The water is crystal clear. This area is absolutely gorgeous and the house is in a great location. Definitely one of our families favorite trips. The kids are already asking if we can go back for a winter ski vacation.

This VRBO property has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked, the location was convenient to all South Lake Tahoe activities, and it was wonderful to see the gorgeous view of the lake. John was very responsive to questions throughout our stay. Definitely recommend!!

Great location and great property for our family Tahoe trip. The house was clean and very friendly neighborhood. The house has a great view of the lake and is close to the lake, heavenly village and restaurants. Communication was very clear and straightforward with property manager/owner. Great house and will be returning!

The house is simply beautiful, well located with great views. So Close to heavenly ski lift 🚠 it’s a 3 minute drive. Would book again and highly recommend!!

The house was very nice and easy to find. Super easy to get in and get kids set up for school. The back hill prefect to sled and didn't have to pay. Which you've ever had to pay to sled you'd understand that's not cheap. We are already talking about when we'd like to head back. Short drive to downtown, if you'd like to shop or grab a bite. We used the kitchen a ton. It's great for a family!!!
