This property was exactly what we expected, and the communications with the property manager/owner were even better than expected. The property location and pictures were exactly as we expected. It's a short drive to Heavenly and downtown Lake Tahoe. The house amenities were all excellent, with several supplies for cooking, even a rice cooker and knife sharpener. The furnishings and decor were nice and comfortable. The hot tub, sauna, steam shower, and pool were well kept and easy to use. The game room and board games was a plus we used more often than we thought. The deck space would have been great to use, but it was too cold to be outside for too long during our visit. What was unexpected was the great communications by the property manager/owner in directions about various aspects of the house. These communications were in emails, texts, and signage in the house. Someone in our party forgot to pack their airpods and left them in the house. We informed the property manager/owner and received the airpods by email later that week. Every property manager/owner should be as great as this one, but after renting multiple VRBO properties each year, we know that this person was even more organized, communicative, and supportive than others, which we already have expectations of.
