Amazing place that has everything for all the family, gorgeous!
We have already booked our next stay at Misty Cottage! It is luxurious and has got everything! The owners have really thought this place through.
The kitchen is fantastic for feeding a large group and there is every utensil you as well as labelled herbs and spices. There are recipe books and everything you need to bake and cook a meal from scratch. The living areas are just lovely with snug areas for reading, listening to music, playing games (provided) or watching TV (DVDs provided) and the bedrooms are so comfortable, all individually tastefully designed, as are the bathrooms.
Our dogs were made to feel very welcome too with a bed and bowls provided. We took our dog crates also and there was still plenty of room. We loved all the different lamps, mirrors and pictures - the attention to details is second to none!
There is a lovely closed in garden area as well as a gated drive where patio doors open out from the dining area. There is also a pub right opposite The White House - lovely.
Just round the corner from the cottage are the footpaths to the beach and walks to Sandsend one way and Whitby the other. A perfect location for walking or driving to places and we personally love it out of season although I imagine in the summer it will be amazing too.
This property was new last summer but we suggest that you get on the case with this one because once people have stayed here they will book to return and it will therefore get booked up quickly! Misty Cottage is a must whether you are a small group or large party. Although we visited with our family this time and have booked to go with friends in the spring we will also book it again just the two of us and our dogs because it is home from home. The owners are very accommodating and are keen for holiday makers to enjoy themselves which definitely shows. The housekeeper Jill next door is also lovely. Nothing not to like here.

Perfect
Perfectly situated, this sumptuously furnished property was ideal for a girly weekend away. More than ample space for 6 ladies & 3 dogs, cannot recommend highly enough

Stunning Property
Stayed at Misty cottage with 6 friends for a weekend of golf and lovely walks
The property is top class every last detail has been thought about, the decor and attention to detail is amazing, I would say this is probably one of the best properties I've stayed at, location is perfect lovely walks on your doorstep will most definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Fabulous Misty Cottage, Whitby.
Misty Cottage has exceeded all our expectations. Set in an amazing location, very close to the beach and has a pub 2 minutes walk away. It has been stunningly furnished and decorated and has everything you would need for a fabulous stay, even down to dog water bowls. It's spacious, yet warm and cosy. A great family retreat! They have thought about everything! Jill next door was a fantastic help, very warm and friendly. We would thoroughly recommend Misty Cottage to anyone thinking about a stay in Whitby.

WOW What can we say--------Just AMAZING
Misty cottage was just amazing. We arrived Friday evening. There were 10 of us.
The cottage is just perfect. Near the beach and a beautiful coastal walk to Robin Hoods Bay.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and the kitchen dining room was great for entertaining.
This is a MUST if you are going for a break in Whitby

The most beautiful cottage in a perfect location.
Misty Cottage is an absolute dream. Restored to an extremely high standard and with such style and attention to detail it is impossible to imagine a more beautiful holiday home. All you can possibly need and more has been provided by the owners and it is spotless throughout.
Everything about Misty Cottage is perfect, including the location. There are fabulous cliff top walks and easy access to the beach. Whitby town centre is just 20 minutes on foot and if you don't fancy cooking for yourselves there is a lovely pub just across the road with an excellent menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the most perfect cottage imaginable and would strongly recommend you try it for yourselves.

Outstanding, Fabulous, WOW!!
Had the most amazing weekend in Misty Cottage. The stylish decor has been well thought out and it really is fabulous. There is everything you could need in the cottage you could literally just take clothes and you're sorted!
Couple of minutes walk to the beach and 10 mins into Whitby. Stunning cottage, great location. Will definitely book again and highly recommend

The fabulous Misty Cottage
Stayed for a week with 2 families and had such an amazing time. The house is brilliant and the owners have thought of everything. Seriously kid friendly and us adults couldn’t have wanted for a thing.

Misty Cottage
The location was superb for beaches and only 15 minute walk to the lovely whitby town.
The house itself is amazing with plenty of space and rooms.
The bedrooms are out of this world with big beds and fanstaic showers.
Everywhere was immaculate and it just looked as if we were the first people to visit a brand new house.
Jill the neighbour was a credit to you. she was so helpful and had always found time to talk and recommend places of interest. If there was a problem she would sort it out straight immediately.There's a great pub across the road which serves great meals.
There's also some great walks along the front.
This is a place that has got to be seen and stayed in to appreciate it.

Wow, the property lives up to the photographs.
Very high spec house, beautiful bedding, had everything we needed including stair gates, high chairs and travel cots. Everything in the kitchen needed to prepare a family meal.
Great location, 5 minute walk to the beach, 15 min walk into Whitby. Lots of places to eat out if needed. Lovely pub just across the road. The owner Azmat and Jill were available if needed.
We had a really great holiday, Thank you
