A 2014 build detached house with 3 double bedrooms and integral garage with walking distance (15 min) of Shrewsbury station either on road or via a riverside walk. In a quiet cul-de-sac this 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom house is furnished to a very high standard and can sleep up to 6 people in 3 double bedrooms. It is perfect for families with the extra facilities of cot and high chair available (by request) at no extra cost. Downstairs there is a spacious living room, with 55 in flat-screen Smart TV with Freeview and a DVD player, there is also a selection of books, magazines and games. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with W.C and washbasin. Hi-speed fibre broadband and WiFi are available. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed, 32 in TV and an en suite with a double shower, the other 2 bedrooms have twin beds, one of which can convert to a super king bed. The family bathroom has a bath with a separate double shower. The house is insulated to the latest standards and has gas Central heating making it comfortable at any time of year. Safety and security is also well catered for lockable windows, high security locks on all external doors, fire doors throughout and smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Set amidst glorious countryside near to the Welsh Borders, Shrewsbury is one of England's finest medieval market towns. The historic centre is a shoppers paradise packed with shops, cafes, bars & restaurants and the local market is held four times a week.The town centre is packed with timber-framed black & white buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways. In fact it boasts over 600 listed buildings including the Castle, now a regimental museum and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael. Charles Darwin was born and educated in Shrewsbury and all around you will find reminders of his association with the town.The River Severn forms a loop around the town centre offering gentle riverside walks or you can enjoy a trip on the new pleasure boat Sabrina. A number of major festivals and unique events are hosted each year, including the world famous Shrewsbury Flower Show. The town has recently started to honour its most famous "son" by organising an annual Darwin Festival and August Bank Holiday weekend is Shrewsbury Folk Festival, one of the UK's top folk events Enjoy the beauty and heritage of Shropshire, allowing you to discover historical sites, breathtaking views and native wildlife.
