Disappointed, booking cancelled a week before arrival.
Booked 12A College Hill months ago as it looks great and reviews were good, it was for a special occasion too.
However a week before we were due to visit, the booking was cancelled leaving us trying to find another property with a reason of 'unforeseen circumstances' - not very helpful !
Unfortunately therefore I am unable to recommend the property despite it looking a great place.

Fantastic accommodation in a very special location
We felt very privileged to be able to stay in this incredible 400 year old building which was beautifully appointed and offered everything you could possibly want- even a huge picnic basket and umbrellas to cope with the vagaries of the British weather!
Shrewsbury constantly surprised us as we explored its streets and “shutts”- its so well preserved and unspoilt that in some places it was like being on a film set. We loved all the independent shops, the fantastic park, the Dingle and the beautiful river walk. Everyone we spoke to was so welcoming and obviously proud of Shrewsbury- we’re planning our next visit already!

Fantastic Flat
This is a great place to stay right in the heart of Shrewsbury. It's an easy walk from the train station & to any of the shops, restaurants, & services that are available in Shrewsbury. The townhome is accessed via a relatively narrow alleyway around other buildings so there's no real view, but the interior space & tudor styling & decor are a welcome change from standard hotel rooms. This three level townhome offers a home away from home for any traveller. There's an entry area leading to the living room, dining area & kitchen. The second floor offers an ensuite (shower) bedroom with a full bed, a child's bedroom with a playpen (where they could sleep), a bedroom with two single beds, & a bathroom with a freestanding claw tub. The third floor offers up a skylit bedroom with a full bed. The various floors & layout offer the ability to have quiet time alone or watch TV while others are sleeping. A very spacious, well appointed, & well situated property.

Immaculate and stylish Shrewsbury townhouse in very convenient and quiet location
We loved your house, it was immaculate with many thoughtful touches. Thank you! The location is perfect for visiting Shrewsbury being a few minutes to all the shops and restaurants and also to the park and the river. A wonderful place to stay in Shrewsbury, and so much nicer than a hotel.

Superb place in a great location
Lovely house with amazing attention to detail. Superbly appointed. Would not hesitate to book again. Only small negative point is parking, but not too problematic. Heating a bit noisy, but can be fixed.

Perfection! Warm, stylish and well-appointed house.
We were very pleased with our last-minute decision in September to have our small family holiday at 12A College Hill. The decor of the house is stylish and all the small touches were greatly appreciated! Jeni was brilliant and responded to all our questions/requests.
The area is convenient, historic and interesting with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but were also pleased to find that the neighbourhood is quiet at night. Parking (nearby) was provided, and while not directly outside the property it was an easy walk.
There are many places to see and things to do in this part of Shropshire, but to be honest we spent a great deal of time sitting around the dining table with our family - visiting, eating, playing games! 12A College Hill is that comfortable!

Wow! Fantastic house in a great, central location!
We spent a wonderful weekend enjoying this exceptional property, which is very conveniently located in the centre of Shrewsbury and yet quiet and secluded down an alleyway. The house itself is fabulous. Oozing character and charm, it is spacious, immaculate and very tastefully decorated with some really thoughtful extras provided. The parking arrangements are excellent. Jeni is a very friendly, helpful and efficient hostess and we would have no hesitation at all in recommending her property. Good value for money and a real gem!

Amazing location, luxury accommodation in town centre
We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights in June. It was a last minute family holiday with my 19 month old Nephew, Sister and Mum. The cottage was In a fantastic location, Shrewsbury is literally on the doorstep. No need to use the car. Parking for the car is a five minute walk and is very secure.
The cottage is well equipped and fantastic for families and young children. Everything you need, high chair, stair gate, cot and more. Lovely little touches yummy biscuits for us and baby.
Beds super comfy with luxury bedding. Nice bathrooms with lovely bath.
Would highly recommend owner very helpful.

SHREWSBURY'S HIDDEN GEM! 5 STAR LUXURY COTTAGE AT AFFORDABLE PRICE!
Stayed at this beautiful house in the centre of Shrewsbury for 3 nights August.
It was very quiet, for the location. Central for everything.
Lovely beds and linen, exceptionally clean and welcoming.
Comfortable and chic furnishings,an absolute gem of a house!
The owner was VERY helpful. This is THE place to stay when visiting Shrewsbury.
