This is a lovely and comfortable cottage located down a quiet lane in the beautiful village of Dunster in an area just below Dunster castle and gardens and adjacent to an old water mill. The cottage is a former bungalow which has been extended such that is has four generous sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a large open plan kitchen/sitting room area, a separate conservatory for dining and a second sitting room/games room. The garden is well maintained has seating and BBQ equipment and is completely enclosed. Its a well lit house and very peaceful - the only sounds at night are the owls calling. Its a very short walk into the centre of Dunster with lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from and you can do lovely walks from the house up the adjacent hill side. Some small downsides are: the kitchen is rather small if you are keen on cooking as we are, its quite tight to steer cars in and out of the drive onto the lane, there is only a corner bath not one you can lie down in. Other than that this place comes highly recommended. The house really does have a great atmosphere and feels like a home not a holiday rental.
