This is a fabulous property, from the moment we opened the wrought iron gates and walked into the cobblestone kitchen I was in love. That was even before we saw the 6 wonderful bedrooms, all decorated in a different uniques style and the private chapel. The pictures on the website do not do this house justice. The owner was very helpful providing equipment to help my 91 year old father in the shower. I could go on for pages, but if you love houses with charm, genuine age and quirky character, this is the house for you. We cant wait to return!

Wow! what a fantastic place, perfect for a family get-together or a special celebration. Both the beach (dog friendly) and Dunster town is only a short walk away. Minehead can also be reached on foot easily at full tide. Plenty of room both in the house and gardens to loose each other or be all together. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area with the steam train being the mode of transport on many occasions. Patience is required with the cold water flow in the kitchen, I would recommend those with electronic devices to charge remember to bring along multi plug adapters as most of the sockets are already used.

Absolutely charming, full of period furniture, a great atmosphere and amazing gardens to have a barbecue in or sit and watch the sundown with a glass of wine. I honestly can't recommend it enough. Beautiful Dunster is within walking distance as is the beach, Blue Anchor (in one direction) and Minehead (in the other). Perfect for a holiday with family and friends. We will hopefully be back next year!

The Old Manor gave us much more than we expected. Every room looked as if the owner had only just left and we settled in very quickly. The furnishings enhanced the historic feel and we really felt we had gone back in time. All mod cons worked well and efficiently so we were able to stay in this century. We had a week of wall to wall sunshine and the garden being so sheltered was used throughout the day to the early evening and during our week we watched new flowers appear. 11 of us stayed at The Old Manor for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. The house is amazing - full of history and yet homely and comfortable. The weather was glorious and the gardens were blooming in the early spring. We all loved our stay and would very much like to return.
