This property is ideally located to visit Shakespeare's town and all the historic houses associated with that time. As you walk into the street you look onto the back garden of Shakespeare Birthplace, just a stones throw from the town centre. The town is full of fine restaurants and bars making a warm welcome before visiting the three theatres located in the town. The property once served locals as a publishing house and later as a pub. In 2007 the double fronted terrace was converted into two flats. The ground floor accommodation offers a spacious space to enjoy a break away where you can walk into the town centre. There is a well equipped modern kitchen, a light and spacious lounge with open plan dining area, two double bedrooms, family bathroom and ensuite to master. The family bath...

Five Star Holiday Venue
Globe House was so comfortable and clean, really 5 star accommodation for our needs. Utterly perfect location for a theatre trip. Plan to return there next year.

Weekend away to Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Drayton Manor
The house we booked, Globe House, 4 Great William Street, Stratford-upon-Avon was ideally located for our visit. It was clean and spacious and ideal for two adults and two children. If parking away from the house check the parking zones. The permit allows parking in street zones S2, but some roads have time restrictions and are S3.
Covid has of course affected local shops and businesses, and the town needs all the support it can get.
The same goes for Warwick. Support the businesses and these towns can recover.
I wish I could say the same about Drayton Manor. Expensive considering the waiting time for rides - the children only managed 5 rides each. Considering the restrictions caused by Covid I'm surprised they don't stay open later as 10.30-5.00 really isn't long enough.
All in all we had a good weekend away and it was lovely to see so many people visiting these areas too.

Superb, spacious apartment - central location
Apartment is centrally located in Stratford upon Avon, only a short walk from all amenities and tourist attractions. Permit provided for on street parking or free parking on a private driveway a short walk away. The apartment itself is very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything that a visitor might need. All accommodation is on the ground floor therefore it is also suitable for those with mobility problems. Good communication from owner at every stage, so we would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in this location.

Lovely central house
This house has such a good location, it was so handy for everything! The house itself was really nice, and so well equipped - loads of kitchen equipment, and even some books, puzzles and toys. We were staying with our toddler, and, as you'd expect, we did have to keep a closer eye on him than we would at home, but that's just standard with a kid that age - although he did have a proper argument with the step between the hall and the master bedroom, and I'd love to see that made a bit more obvious.
All in all, a lovely holiday rental, and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Brilliant Apartment
This apartment right in the center of town is so well equipped and furnished, there is nothing missing and the owner has everything working so well for guests. The arrival, parking and sadly leaving were just so simple. We wanted to book again in December but too late but we will be back, we loved it and highly recommend Globe house.

Well-equipped flat close to Shakespeare's birthplace
Very well equipped flat and so convenient for walking into town, either a couple of minutes along the road or a bit longer by the lovely canal footpath walk. Parking outside the flat was extremely difficult as it was such a busy week, but Lisa's alternative parking was a great help and just a few minutes away. Good to have somewhere to be able to sit outside too.

Excellent property in the heart of Stratford
I stayed in the apartment for a week with my husband who is disabled. The facilities are excellent and of a high standard. Apart from a step inside the property - which he managed to overcome - it is ideal for people with walking difficulties. It is in a central location and by using a parking permit provided we were able to leave the car parked at the front door.
The apartment is nicely furnished, clean and tidy and the layout was ideal for us.
The secluded courtyard with garden table and chairs is a quiet and handy area for sitting out. Lisa was extremely efficient in responding to my enquiries. I am looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Simply perfect!
A perfect place to stay in Stratford. The accommodation is excellent and communication with Lisa was very easy. We are two couples, so a bedroom with en suite and another with separate bathrooms suited us perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to operate and there is a good sized round table in the dining area. There is also an outside area but our British weather prevented us from using it!
We parked one car on the street near the apartment and the other in a location offered by the host.
Everything in Stratford is in easy walking distance so we only used a car when visiting Mary Arden’s farm which, incidentally, is well worth a visit.
Highly recommended!

Excellent flat,great location
The perfect bolthole for us for a visit to the RSC. Really clean and comfortable, excellent location, just five minutes' walk from everywhere, and the parking vouchers were an unexpected bonus - parked outside on arrival and didn't have to move the car until we left. Lisa was very friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely book again when we next make the Stratford trip.

Fabulous
We've stayed in many self catering accommodations over the years and this by far one of the nicest. I'm writing this review from the comfort of the double bed at Globe House 😀
Spotlessly clean , nicely decorated , so spacious for 4 people and equipped with nice glasses, crockery etc. Nice towels and bed linen
Although advertised as one en suite , the main bathroom is next to the second bedroom so as near to two en suites as you can get. Perfect for two couples or a family .
We were lucky enough to park close by, cars come and go all the time so even if there wasn't a space I think you'd only have to wait a little while if you didn't want to take up the option of alternative parking
Minutes walk to the river and the town centre.
After a previous recent visit we had lunch at Forteas yesterday and dinner at Lambs - both excellent
