Wir, Ehepaar mit einem erwachsenen Sohn, hatten über die Ostertage Freunde in Köln besucht. Die Wohnung von Lilia wahr die Schönste die wir je hatten. Sehr sauber, gepflegt, wohnlich und es hat alles, wirklich alles. Sogar eine Bose Box um die eigene Musik zu hören, schnelles Wlan, genügend Dusch- und Handtücher, bequeme Betten mit verschiedenen Kissen, Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine und in der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Toll war auch der grosse Balkon wo wir mit den Freunden frühstücken konnten und man kann es kaum glauben, eines Morgens turnten zwei Eichhörnchen auf den Bäumen hinter dem Haus herum. Die Lage im Quartier Lindenthal ist einfach genial. Es ist absolut ruhig, trotzdem ist alles in der Nähe. Die Dürenerstrasse ist zu Fuss in 5 Minuten erreichbar und da hat es alles was man braucht. Viele Läden (auch Bioläden), Restaurants, Kaffees, Bäckereien und die Parks sind auch nicht weit. Vieles kann man zu Fuss machen, ansonsten sind die Buss- und Tramstationen in der Nähe. Der Kontakt zu Lilia war sehr sympatisch und unkompliziert. Herzlichen Dank, Lilia für den wundervollen Aufenthalt. Having rented more than 60 properties in Europe and the US, this lovely property ranks at the top. It is located a few short blocks from Dürener Straße, where you will find restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, dry cleaners, drugstores, beauty parlors, grocery stores, everything you can possibly need. Lindenthal is a lovely residential neighborhood where you will feel safe walking anywhere, day or night. The property is near the university hospital, which is a comfort for those with health concerns while they travel. Reserved parking is right in front of the small building, and the apartment is only one easy, wide flight of stairs from the ground floor. There is a private washer and separate dryer in the common laundry room, and you will definitely not be cold if you visit in winter. During European trips we have often had the situation where if you are running one electrical equipment, you cannot run another; that is not a problem here. The owners have thought of everything; I have never found a better-equipped property. Plenty of hot water, lots of towels, coffee, paper goods, detergent, several different shampoos, great pillows, and the bed linens are perfectly pressed, so the beds are not only very comfortable but welcoming. There is also a lovely private terrace that is a delight. We had a car, so did not use public transport, but a short walk to Dürener Straße will get you to transport to the city center, only a few minutes away. Try Faro, an Italian restaurant, and also Carlos, which specializes in beef. Both restaurants had great food, filled with locals and not tourists, but the best part was great, friendly staff AND they speak English! The best part of this experience is the owner, Lilia, a lovely person who is available all the time, as she and her husband live less than a block away. She made restaurant suggestions and reservations for us, spoke to the dry cleaners to make sure our clothes would be ready on time, bought several things I needed, like Johnson’s baby oil which I could not find in Europe. She ordered it from her Amazon account and had it waiting on arrival, and completely went well above and beyond for us. I have made a friend for life! Stay here, you will love it! Thank you Lilia!

Wir hatten mit unserer Tochter und der 2 Jh Enkelin eine richtig gute Zeit in Köln.Die gut gelegene (Unikliniken,Dürener Str,),gepflegte,gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit Parkplatz!!!ermöglichte uns ein schönes Familienleben.Die charmante Vermieterin erklärte uns kurz,aber nicht zu kurz das Wesentliche.Erstaunt waren wir über den englischsprachigen Einweisungsordner.Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Raumaufteilung! Our experience in Cologne was elevated by the amazing hospitality of Lilia and the wonderful location and setup of the apartment. Everything is close by from shopping to restaurants to supermarkets to tram station. We arrived and found the fridge stocked with treats to get us through the first night and breakfast the next day. In addition Lilia added thoughtful items for our kids like stool to use at sink, toys and games to play, and a pack and play that looked comfy enough for me! Every touch was perfect and the place is so well stocked we didn’t need anything during our stay outside of the food we were making. I would highly recommend to anyone. This was a real pleasant treat.

First, if it were only the place, it would be 5 stars because the apartment is wonderful - everything you need is there, the beds are comfortable and the living space is very usable. The amazing part is that you get a resource of information and a more than accommodating hostess when you stay here! Lilia was so helpful and sweet and wonderful. She had an entire binder of information about the area and also about areas around for sightseeing. She left treats for us and the kids that were more than gracious! The espresso machine was wonderful to have - all the varieties of espresso were perfect. I could go on forever - the place is fantastic and Lilia is the best hostess you could ask for in Germany. I would love to come back someday and hope that we get to stay in her lovely apartment again. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt like we were in our home away from home. The apartment was exactly as advertised; spotless, well stocked and perfectly set-up to accommodate a travelers needs. There are many extras including: maps of the area, cold beer in the fridge, good coffee, adapters, umbrellas, and high quality bedding for a restful nights sleep. Should you need anything - Lilia is just a phone call away. We enjoyed our stay very much and would look forward to another visit.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment in July. Everything was superb. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The location is second to none, convenient to local shops and restaurants and also to Cologne city centre. Our young teenage daughters also loved their holiday here. Lilia is a lovely host and extremely welcoming. It's like a home from home. We look forward to returning, hopefully soon.
