We were lucky to be among the first guests of this truly amazing villa and what a pleasant surprise! We were looking for a private place without giving away the comfort and services of a luxury hotel, but Capri in August is nearly off-limits. Luckily we did find this villa, fresh on the market, elegant and with breath-taking views of both sides of the island. The villa is owned and run by local hotelier Luigi, perfect host: meticulous, welcoming, discreet and always available.
Check-in, from welcoming you at the marina to the doorstep of the villa, has been super smooth. Luigi took care of all, from our luggage, to filling (over-filling) the refrigerator with local delicatessen, always giving space to our privacy. Communication was great before, during (and even after the stay).
Facilities and Design
The villa is simply perfect. Large, plenty of room for several guests. Brand new furniture, linen, appliances, great wifi reception (in/out), hi-tech tv/hi-fi, a/c... it smells and feels light, fresh and clean and you believe you are in a 5 stars Lux resort, with hidden servants taking care of you. Even the garden, with secular trees, flowers and jacuzzi, or the solarium... are straight out of a Dolce Vita movie. The decor of the villa is very elegant (the family runs also some fashion boutiques on the island and you can see that). There is everything you need... even more than what you can normally desire or ask in a luxury resort, without having to ask. Luigi thought it all in advance. Even the fresh croissants (and if you want breakfast) from the local baker left at the door each morning.
To get to the villa (as in most locations in Capri) you got to walk. It's a scarse 10 minutes from the Piazzetta, but - with the exception for the ramp to access - it's a light and enjoyable walk. Once there you can enjoy one of the most amazing views of Capri village and the entire island from both sides. The villa is grand, nested among pine trees and sufficiently discreet to enjoy it in complete privacy.
It boasts elegant inside spaces and large outdoors.... you need a full week to start enjoying it all.
We did not ask for most of the possible services (other than the luggage service and the morning breakfast), but the villa has access to a 24h butler/concierge service to get literally anything you can wish for. From bookings, to local chef, extra cleaning, etc... Impressive
I recommend to pack a small luggage. You can find all in Capri and travelling light is helpful.
