At the edge of Amsterdam, in its greenest neighborhood Gein, we, Alvin and Koen Smit-Amor, welcome you into our lovely home. With the Gein metro station a few minutes from our house, it’s just a 30 minute ride to the city center or the airport. And if you have seen enough in Amsterdam city center, walk 2 minutes from our home and you find yourself in a big nature reserve where you can take a stroll. Or walk to the Gaasperplas, a recreational lake just 10 minutes to the north. You can also walk 20 minutes to the local cheese farm to buy some authentic Dutch cheese. And after a 5 minute metro ride, go shopping in the Amsterdamse Poort near Bijlmer Arena station. Where you can also check out the latest (subtitled!) movies in the Pathe cinema. - The room is on the top floor of our house, there are two flights of stairs to go up (with your luggage), unfortunately this is not suitable for guests who have difficulties with using stairs. - We try to be as sustainable as possible, by limiting the use of plastic, separating waste, refilling soap and shampoo bottles and reuse towels. We would appreciate it if you can comply with this too. - We follow the safety regulations of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Interaction avec les clients: The check-in happens in our living room, unless you are allergic to cats, then we can do it in your room, since the cats are not allowed upstairs. We are mostly at home, so ask us anything, we can help you with whatever you need.

Heel hartelijk ontvangst voor ons en mijn hondje. Kamer is van alles voorzien en hele lekkere koffie. Alle nodige uitleg bij aankomt. Op 10 min van het Arena en goede parkeer mogelijkheden. Als je iets zoekt in de buurt van Amsterdam, is deze B&B zeker de moeite om te reserveren. Groetjes W&N

My daughter Antonia and I stayed at Amor Guesthouse this September. Koen and Alvin were wonderful, generous and hospitable hosts who welcomed us into their charming and cosy home. And as cat lovers, we were delighted to get to know their two adorable cats, Michael and Jackson. Our room was lovely - elegant, chic and stylish, the bed extremely comfortable, the shower powerful and there was a selection of eclectic books and unusual tech art. There was a selection of tea (essential for the Brits), coffee and fresh fruit every day. The location is very convenient, just a two minute walk to the nearest tube which goes direct to the city centre. We would highly recommend this fabulous guesthouse.
