We booked the villa as we wanted to be near Cabedelo Beach for the watersports and also because it is so beautiful. We booked it as a family of 6 adults plus an infant. The villa is much larger than the picture shows and very spacious inside. It is very quirky with different floors and levels. There are two bedrooms below ground. The kitchen is extremely well kitted with all new appliances (no washing machine). The covered area is where we ate most of our meals if eating in although the dining area is lovely. I am not sure I would want to stay as a group of 14 as there are only 2 bathrooms and the toilets are in the bathrooms. Some of the villa has been modernised and other parts have not. Would have been nice to have mirrors in all the bedrooms, not just two. There are bedside lamps but nowhere to plug them in near the bed. Only one pillow per person.
However such an amazing location for the incredible beach, the wake park, ferry over to Viana do Castello itself. There are easy taxis if after ferry hours for getting home. Watersport kit hire on the beach very affordable. Lovely local restaurant. Small local supermarket or 8 minutes to Lidl if you have a car.
Any niggles, problems or questions were dealt with instantly in a very friendly manner.
Definitely a great holiday.
