A Fabulous Break
Just back from a 4 night stay at Tree Tops Lodge and we had a great time The lodge was fab, great location we had some lovely walks with the dogs in the forest It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing, the kids loved the hot tub! Kelly was great with communicating with us prior to our stay and really friendly when meeting her during our stay (whilst cleaning the other lodge) I would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to come back for another visit in the future 😊

Break from reality
Three night stay in August with family. The lodge was fantastic - much bigger than expected - and had everything we could need. Beautifully situated with incredible views of the Forest of Dean, the lodge is surrounded by nature with an incredible variety of birds. There are bird books and binoculars to guide any budding bird spotter which you can’t help but become! A pathway to woodland walks immediately behind the lodge encourages guests to explore further and spot bars, bunnies and even wild boar. Inside the lodge everything has been thought of to ensure a relaxing stay and it is truly a home from home. The kitchen has everything you could need and more and there are shops within 10 minutes drive to stock up. The hot tub is amazing and literally all you can see is forest and sky. With minimal light pollution the night sky is incredible and we were treated to an excellent view of the Perseid meteor shower during our stay. A really lovely break from reality with great communication from the host and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all.

We will definitely be back!
Lodge was perfect….the deck/hot tub look out over the treetops (hence the name I guess!) so loads of birds. Very peaceful, perfect for a break from life. Shower water pressure amazing! Good Wi-Fi. Nice walk straight into the forest.

Gorgeous lodge
We stayed in the tree tops lodge for a 5 day break. The lodge was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable beds and everything you could need for a short break. The hot tub was lovely and so easy to access as and when you wanted to get in. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable but that didn’t really bother us. The lodge is equipped with entertainment such as Netflix and a few board games which came in handy for the rainy day we had, as well as books for adults & children. The lodge is dog friendly but you wouldn’t know that as it was so clean and smelt fresh and didn’t have that ‘doggy’ smell like some places we have stayed. The area is nice and quiet but definitely requires a car to commute to the town and surrounding areas. There is a walk behind the lodge that takes you into the neighbouring village which was ideal for a quick dog walk. We visited Coleford town which was nice and managed to get supplies for food etc, also we drove to Ross on wye, Symonds Yat, and the sculpture trail. It’s an ideal base to explore the gorgeous Forest of Dean. Kelly, the owner was very helpful when we got lost finding the lodge, our satnav took us to the other side of the road into a small track of houses! But the instructions are clear in the email if you don’t take that turning! Great stay and we are so relaxed now!

Relaxing 3 nights
Beautiful, clean, spacious lovely decor. Milk, eggs, tea, dishwasher and washing machine tabs all left for us. Good communication. Wonderful hot tub and excellent views.

Tree Tops was the tops
Such a smart and well appointed property, absolutely loved our few days here. Everything you could ask for when away for a few days with dogs. Marvellous walking routes on the doorstep and wildlife in abundance. Plenty of great places to eat in the area; the Butcher’s Arms a must for carnivores and dog friendly too. After a hard day’s walking the hot tub was very always ready and welcome. Kelly was a very responsive host; email communication fast and prompt. Thank you for letting us stay.

Great location and amazing views!
We spent a long weekend away with family including our 20 month grandson and our 2 dogs. Beautiful location with amazing views across the forest from the deck. A path leading down to The Bream Heritage Walk runs alongside the lodge so very easy to access, great for walking the dogs and exploring with our grandson. The lodge was very well equipped and cleaned to a high standard and the hot tub was a bonus to take in the views from. Kelly was very helpful in allowing our daughter to drop off medications that needed to be kept chilled before 4pm. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tree Top Lodge
Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was fab with beautiful views. Location was perfect for lots of local attractions.

Great lodge in a quiet location overlooking the valley and woodland
Well equipped lodge, clean, warm and comfortable. Great location for walking and visiting the FoD area. Be sure to visit The Miners in Sling for a warm welcome and great beer & food, especially Sunday Lunch, book ahead though!

Wonderful long weekend in the Forest of Dean
Comfortable and well-equipped cottage with an amazing view. We loved watching the birds in the morning and sitting in the hot tub to watch the sun go down. Loads to do in the area. Would definitely recommend!
