Hi Richard(Dick)do you always accuse people of theft only when my adopted 11 year old who has ADHD, special needs and is deaf managed to sneak home a soft toy in her bag, I promised to send it back but then explained my mum had fell off her chair lift and was in hospital, my daughter caught covid while staying at yours, then my mum caught covid. As I look after them and couldn’t leave them, I said I would post asap. Since then, I caught covid badly (as I was in a coma for a month last year when all my organs failed) and literally picked my phone up today to see a message from you guys accusing me of stealing it?! I cant believe the fuss over a toy and feel we have been treated so badly! It’s not like the ‘lodge/caravan’ is good anyway! I suggest people stay clear - one nasty couple!!

Its been nearly 3 weeks since you last told us that you would send it back, since then no information, you ignored Sue of a few days ago and when I contacted you yesterday for a reminder you became abusive. Your thoughts on the property have changed since you said "thanks for letting me stay at your beautful lodge" Please send back the item that your daughter took as you originally agreed. Thanks

Perfect holiday. Chalet amazing so many extras for children abd things you matmy have forgotten lovely friendly people on site who owned chalets felt very safe and welcome

Superb home from home
Have just returned from this wonderful mobile home /lodge. Absolutely fabulous we took our grandsons age 7 and 9, away during Easter Holidays. They are already asking to stay there again. Everything you could need is there. I took some games with me, I needn't have bothered. The Boys played, Ludo and draughts and we even made a start on the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. Plenty of toys, books and games already there. Fully equipped kitchen everything was spotless. Was able to prepare meals easily. Loads of storage space in the bedrooms. Clear instructions from the hosts Rich and Sue. Plus loads of tourist information in the lodge. We hired bikes from Cannop Cycle centre, to do the bike trails. Another really good half day out is the Krazy Golf at Lydney as pool, table tennis and airhockey are all included in the price. Also on the doorstep is Puzzlewood and Perrygrove railway. A fabulous place to spend time can be as relaxing or as busy as you like.

Lovely accommodation, great location
The accommodation was on a lovely, secluded quiet site. Located near to plenty of local attractions. It was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Within a few minutes drive of a small town with a couple of supermarkets, a good selection of places to eat or get takeaway food. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Excellent lodge, very clean and tidy. Thanks to Rich and Sue for a pleasant stay. Very nice site. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Lodge
We stayed for 3 nights and can recommend this lodge. Very comfortable and had everything you could need - and more. Plenty of seats in the living room and everything was very clean. We felt very covid19 safe. The 'park' was quiet and easy to find. Nice to have the garden to sit in, too.

Great
The Lodge is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. The attention to details is impeccable. Very clean and spacious. The owners kept in touch and even sent us a text midweek to ensure everything was ok. The location is peaceful and perfect for exploring the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent stay again.
This is the second time we’ve stayed at Squirrel Lodge, it’s very conveniently located for the Forest of Dean and Beechenhurst. Clean and all facilities you need. Large TV, plenty of sofa space and and storage for a couple of bikes.

Very comfortable lodge in an excellent location for exploring the Forest of Dean
Squirrel Lodge is very comfortable with everything one needs for an enjoyable holiday. It is very conveniently located for Forest walks and other activities and there are various eating places in reasonable proximity. The car parking space is convenient albeit rather short in length.

Fantastic lodge
We had an amazing time at the lodge, it was beautifully decorated and well furnished. It was amazing and really comfortable. Perfect base for visiting the forest of Dean. Thank you for a wonderful stay ☺
