Perfect in all aspects
We stayed for two nights, to enjoy some walking in the Forest of Dean. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Beautifully clean and pristine when we arrived and the host had even put the heating on for us and provided hot drinks, milk and biscuits. She was quick to reply to any messages and the whole booking process was easy and stress free. The location is great for reaching all the main sites in the forest.

Clean, comfortable accommodation a stone throw from the Forest of Dean
My partner and I stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The studio apartment is spacious and has everything you need, including cooking facilities, and it was spotless. Angela and Lawrence were great hosts, always available when needed whilst at the same time allowing for privacy. Sling is a small town with two pubs serving food and a third drinking establishment but there are no shops so we would say a car is a must. The nearest town for shopping is only a 5 minutes drive away but it would be a long walk! The highlight for us was being able to walk to the forest (a 3 minutes walk from the apartment) and spend the day walking around without needing to drive back. Nearby we would also recommend Puzzlewood (a 5 minutes drive, beautiful bit of the forest where many films have been shot, including Star Wars. Well worth a visit). A lovely few days away, thank you Angela and Lawrence.

Perfect place to stay
We were really impressed with this studio apartment, which we stayed in as a family so we could attend our friends' wedding nearby. The main room is very spacious, with one static double bed and a futon couch that folds out for a second bed. The bathroom is large, comprising both a bath and shower unit. The kitchen is well designed to include everything you need for a short stay. The detached accommodation was spotlessly clean, well appointed, and had some nice touches to make our stay very comfortable indeed. The owners were welcoming and friendly, but without imposing at all. The location is quiet and in a beautiful spot of the country. All in all, this was a perfect solution for us (2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby) to stay in, and was far more convenient and infinitely better value for money than a standard hotel room. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Perfect apartment in the Forest of Dean
The location is convenient and the apartment surpassed our expectations, thanks to Angela and Lawrence. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed.We visited the Caves and walked at Symonds Yat. Angela and Lawrence went out of their way to make sure that our stay was memorable. We will definitely come back.

Very relaxing spot
Lovely hosts, great little bungalow. We had a lovely few days in the area. Location spot on with two lovely pubs in walking distance with good fold. Garden a treat to sit out in after a days walk, cycle or canoe!

Great location. Many villages around with a variety of pubs, cafes etc. Central to the places we wished to visit. Hosts very accommodating and welcoming yet unobtrusive.

Perfect week...
What a Perfect week we had...visited old friends and places and stayed in an excellent apartment in a stunning location overlooking the beautiful Forest of Dean. Our hosts were genuinely friendly and provided us with all that we needed. The accommodation comprised of everything you could possibly need in a 'home away from home'...we would definitely want to stay here again. Thank you both very much!
