We stayed for 4 nights in Francavilla while visiting family in Chieti, a 20 min drive away.
We arrived at 11pm and Giuseppe waited for us (I called half an hour before we arrived) to show us in. Parking is not right outside the apartment as it is located on the main road, but you can stop to drop off bags and there is plenty of free parking available just around the corner. The apartment was easy to find and very clean and tidy. It is spacious and modern and has actual proper air con (not just a ceiling fan like in a previous place I have stayed!) which works quickly. 5kw of electricity is free per day, then it is €1 per kW after that. There is a meter right by the door so you can keep track, no nasty surprises on departure. We used an extra 33kw in 4 days because it was still so hot at night so we needed the air con on. Worth every penny though!
One night the power cut out just as we were getting ready to go out, but after a quick text to Giuseppe he arrived almost immediately and went down to the basement to reconnect us.
When staying at the apartment you are responsible for the disposal of all your rubbish, this is interesting as they collect different things on different days. However, just across the road at the beach (€20 to rent an umbrella with 2 sun beds for a day - the sea is shallow and warm and safe for children although very salty) there are recycling bins to put the trash out before you leave.
The apartment was quiet despite being in a busy location and from there it is very easy to get out and explore the area. There is a supermarket just down the road (5 mins walk). I would strongly consider returning to the Apartment Green next time and I highly recommend Giuseppe as a landlord - as my Italian friend said, he's a real man! (A true gentleman!)

Wonderful stay across from the beautiful beach
Giuseppe, the owner, speaks fluent English and he is a delightful host, very helpful in directing us to local attractions and always ready to help. The apartment is spacious, very clean and we stayed with our son to attend a wedding in Pescara. Very few Americans here in this resort town this time of year, but felt welcome. We had a washer that broke during our stay and before we knew it, Giuseppe was bought a new one and installed it. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Fantastic summer vacation in Francavilla
We rented a very good apartment (Green) in Francavilla for 10 days (two adults and two children (6 and 10 years old). The apartment was perfect for our family, newly renewed, clean and beautiful and near lots of great beaches! A lot of positive factors with this apartment - washing machine, lot of space inside, colorful, free wifi internet, good working air-condition, well equipped kitchen, very service-minded, owner/landlord.
Within 2-5 min walking - many good restaurants, shops, genuine Italian "gelaterias" and tourist markets in the small but lively town of Francavilla.
A bus stop was just outside the apartment, making it easy to travel to the larger town of Pescara (approx 100 000 inhabitants) or to the Pescara International airport.

A fantastic time in Francavilla!
Giuseppe's hospitality and concern for his guests was evident immediately to us upon arrival in Francavilla. We were lost and phoned him, and within a few minutes he came to us and escorted us to the apartment! The apartment itself was beautiful, VERY clean and spacious - exactly as reflected in the pictures. There were six of us staying in the Green apartment (4 adults and 2 teenagers) and we never felt cramped or tight. There was nothing missing from this apartment - sheets, towels, kitchen utensils! Giuseppe and his fiancee welcomed us warmly, gave us directions to all the sights in and around Francavilla and they were always available to answer any questions we had throughout the week. The beautiful sandy beach with clear water is directly in front of the apartment, across the street. So convenient! We had an amazing time in Francavilla and I would highly recommend Giuseppe's apartments!

It's the more nice and clean apartment that I have visit in all my travels. It's just few steps from the beach, and I have had a fantastic holiday in Francavilla al Mare.
The owner is a very kindly person and present for every question.
